Dino Museum & Farm

On Saturday we headed to Thanksgiving Point with my parents and Corey's kids, Jayden and Bailey.

After lunch at the diner, we went to the Dinosaur Museum. Alexa was a little nervous at first but quickly loved it. They got messy and had a blast. Gavin however crashed about 1/2 way through.

The kids (and adults) still had enough energy to do the Farm so we headed out in the wind to see the animals.

The favorite part of the day was riding the ponies. This was Alexa's third pony experience and her favorite. Grandpa walked beside her for the first rotation but soon realized she didn't need him. She had no fear, making me a little nervous. She was flipping around to wave at everyone, holding on with only one hand so she could pet the horse etc. she was very brave.

It was a lot of fun!

Easy Model!

I have thought about things that I wanted to do before we moved. One was take pictures of the kids in our house here. I love their rooms so today I got Gav in his. His room is so plain but I love the colors. He makes it just so much cuter.
Now you should know that I can't just take one or two pictures. I take SEVERAL then go to the "editing board" to see which one I want to post. Usually I come out with one or two that I love. This time, I can't choose. I seriously loved all 50. He was being so funny in there. I was cracking up. So here are MANY pictures of Gav in his room! :)

Sick, Sick, Sick!

DISCLAIMER: These are cell phone pictures.
And yes.. Mr. Happy was sick.
I'm lucky he is so happy all of the time.
I think everyone we know has been sick, for a long time. We are in the same boat. It seems like we have been sick for weeks. I have been the lucky one who has dodged most of it.
Greg we think has a sinus infection/cold etc. Alexa had a fever of 103+ for 2 days with the cold/flu to match. And Gavin has had 2 ear infections with his cold and fevers.
With the first ear the doc's started him on antibiotics. 3 days later we were in for his 9 month well-check. The first ear was getting better but the 2nd was really bad. This means that the 1st antibiotics weren't working. They switched him to a stronger one. He was still rubbing that poor ear 12 days later. Yesterday I took them both back in because of Gav's ear and Alexa's major congestion/snot issue never resolved. Gavin had a fever and that 2nd ear infection never went away. It was WORSE, so sever in fact that we have to go in for 3 days to get a very painful shot of stronger antibiotics. The infection was about to burst. If this third round of antibiotics doesn't cure it, we visit the ENT. He will probably have to get tubes. :(
We'll see!
