We just got back from car shopping and are no better off than when we started. Worse actually! Cuz now we don't actually have a car because we sold our CR-V to a dealership. They made us a fabulous offer we couldn't refuse. The air conditioning was out and with summer approaching I just couldn't get myself to face it without a nice cool car to retreat to. I was already experiencing the sweat-induced agitation last week and it was only 70 degrees outside :)
Goodbye trusted ol' friend. I've brought both my babies home in you. Moved 5 times with you packed to the brim. Taken you on countless adventures. You'll live on in my memories :)
What a champ.
Phil's still got his little truck to drive to work but it looks like we might need to rent something for me for a bit. So what kind of car is gonna best fit my needs is now the question? And what are those needs exactly?
I pray. I fast. I ask others for advice. But in the end, I think it's up to me and the Lord sometimes just trusts us to do what's best. So I sure will try!
But at least amongst all the decisions and hard stuff I've got some fun things ahead. Two of my BFFs are coming the second weekend in April to spend a Girl's Weekend with me up in Midway at our resort. I'm so stoked! We plan to do girly things all weekend; pedicures, eyelash extensions, shopping, movies, restaurants, hottubs, endlessly dissecting each others lives, etc.. :)
General Conference is also coming up. And Easter... and my 28th Birthday. As well as another trip to Spanish Fork to do eyelashes (which has actually been a nice little income for me once a month). So there is actually a lot of good stuff and I am grateful. I know the decisions will come in time. Til then, its just one day at a time!
