Busy, being mostly stuff like this
They are so sweet that they weren't getting any candy (the only way you could is if you pushed and shoved the other kids).. some of the adults around noticed so they started catching candy for them and giving it to them :) They were so excited about it.
Then we went and visited Phil down the street at work and ate lunch with him. (well... they ate their candy more like).
And then when Phil got off we went to Rigby lake to play on the beach and later had a BBQ and watched some neighborhood fireworks.
Later in the month I went to Utah to watch my sister's kids while she took a trip to New York. I had plans to be a creative and fun aunt, but with two 2 years olds, two 4 year olds, a 6 year old and 7 year old in tow, I mostly settled for keeping them happy and safe :) We went on lots of bike rides, ate junk, and played so much outside we all had great tans. It was fun and busy and I was proud of myself at the end for handling so much :)
Phil met me down in Utah when he got out of school and played with my brother in law and did a little job shadowing. He also discovered a new hobby that he's now very excited about: Mountain Biking. He's convinced I'll join him in the discovery...
