January kind of flew by. Bruin started preschool and Phil started another hard semester.
As for me, I recently started a new workout program that has been awesome.
Lately I've had lots of thoughts and emotions going on inside that head of mine about life, family, decisions, love, and its been a great thing for me to be able to wake up early in the morning and go clear my head.
I just love getting that time away everyday to strengthen myself, body and mind.
I was doing awesome with the workout program until this weekend when we went to Utah to spend the SuperBowl weekend with my sisters up in Midway, Utah. The resort we always stay at has an awesome gym there but of course, it was closed all weekend do to reflooring. I was so bummed! So I resigned myself to the Superbowl junk food and laziness and am starting again today. We got home too late last night (1:45am) for me to wake up at 6:30 to go to the gym so I'll have to go tonight.
But the weekend was totally fun. I love seeing my sisters and love even more for my kids to be able to play with all their cousins. It is seriously little boy craziness every time we get together with all 7 boys. We went hottubbing and sledding all weekend. I loved playing army with the little boys in the pool and teaching them how to throw grenades the "cool way" and chop off heads with pretend swords.
We even made it to this sledding park called Soldier Hollow where they have a sledding lift that takes you up to a bunch of sledding hills. I got to team up going down the hills with each of my nephews individually and have a good time with them.

I was so proud of Bruin too because he was so scared but ended up loving it. On the very first ride up the lift to the top of the hill, Bruin was bawling and begging me for hugs (I was about 10 ft in front of him on my tube). The lift paused for a moment to fix something and Bruin got up out of his tube and bolted away! Luckily Phil caught up to him and put him back in right as it started back up. haha Funny kid.
Now I'm back and have so much laundry and housework to do that I'm already exhausted and its only noon. Had to take a break and put a blog up for my parents to see what fun they missed out on :)
I will try to be better about blogging and at least post more than once a month.
Til next time I'll leave with you this favorite Pinterest pin of Phil's:
