My Easter bunny came to me last Sunday. What a guy! I found a basket in the car on the way to church filled with all my favorites. Gotta love that sneaky bunny. Thanks love! Oh and I even found an Easter skirt to wear to make the day happy and bright!

No on Grease
I'm kind of a freak about what I let Bruin eat. His meals are always super nutritious and he RARELY gets to even TRY anything junk food-ish. That is why I shocked myself today by giving Bruin his first french fry... yes that's right. He ate three McDonald's french fries and I let him. On our way home from his doctor's appointment I had the biggest craving for fries. I almost never eat fast food so I decided it was alright and treated myself to some greasy drive thru. Bruin was shooting me these "please please please" looks while he opened and closed his fists several times (the signal that he wants something). So I gave in. Why am I such a stickler about what he eats? Maybe because he is my first child? Maybe because he just seems so pure and unpolluted? Whatever the reason it gives me peace of mind to know he's getting the best. So french fries, you won't get the best of my child, even with days like today (I even brushed off the salt to make sure).

Springtime = Pooltime?
Our friend's parents heated their pool up on Saturday and invited us to come swimming that night. It was so warm and we loved it (94 degrees)! Bruin had lots of fun splashing but it was freezing getting out! I've never seen him shiver so much! It felt like a great kick off to a fun summer ahead!

Look at our matching chins! :)

Gma Gpa Casper
Phil's parents decided to hop on a flight for a fun visit this conference weekend! We off course spent the weekend eating delicious food between sessions (a must with my parents)...all I gotta say is dutch oven ribs and potatoes. mmm
Brad had to leave Sunday night but Grandma Sanny got to stay until Tuesday playing with Bruin. We had a picnic and did some shopping and mainly stayed entertained by Bruin. He's doing better now that he has antibiotics for his ear and throat infection he had.
Oh! And also, I had my birthday this week! I turned 24 and we celebrated by going with some friends to this Indian restaurant called North Indian Bar and Grill. The food was soo DIFFERENT is the only word I can describe it! Some of it was good but some was just weird. I had to pump and dump the next day, just to make sure all that curry and spices didn't upset Bruin's tummy! hah Our waitress let us have some forehead jewels to make us feel like indian women. We took a pic and when I get it I will post it :)
That night I went and slept at my parent's house so that I could sleep in that morning with no sounds of Bruin all night or morning :) It was fabulous! Although I still woke up at 6am automatically I still enjoyed laying in bed until 8 and then taking a nice peaceful, interrupted bubble bath in my mom's big jet tub. After that Phil came over with donuts from my favorite donut shop and we enjoyed conference and Big Hat Days and good food. Yay for birthdays!
Here are some pics of the weekend!

Beach Bums
This week Phil and my dad had to go work in the Bay area for a few days so my mom and I decided to come along! We took several walks around the park with Bruin and made a ton of lemonade from some lemons we picked. We also took a little trip over to the beach and hung out in the sun for awhile. Besides the fact that Bruin would hardly take any naps, the trip was lots of fun! Here are some pics

He was sleeping on the way there and we thought we heard him wake up so we decided to peek through the window on the car seat and saw his cute little face staring up at us.

Bruin got his first tooth! Every time I tried to get a pic of it he would stick out his tongue
