Chris Turned 30!

Chris turned 30! Finally! Michelle threw him a fun party at their house for his friends. I only got two freaking pics....they are all on someone else's camera. But, I have the AFTER and DURING shot of Nick doing his kegstand. Sorry Nicky! Got to find Kyle's pic....

Bye Bye Turkey

A sad, sad day for Kyle. Few may know, but we would see tiny moths in the "mount" room quite often. After much googling on the internet...I learned that moths like to eat feathers, horns and antlers. The moths were always around his turkey mount. We started seeing little eaten holes on its feathers and feathers dropping to the ground. Kyle even started putting moth balls on all his mounts. Anyways, as the big turkey watches me monogram every day, I had noticed a new pile of feathers on the floor. I told Kyle and he freaked. The moths had started in on the head. He pulls the head and it comes off. DISGUSTING! So, he continues to tell me he has to throw the mount away. Trust me, I wasn't sad in the least bit. I had to document this. Hooray! There is a GOD! Just kidding! I was sad to watch his face though. And, I even cheered in the doorway when the garbage men came. I can only imagine what our neighbors thought.

It's Snowing in Katy!!

Friday, it was to snow...so I had the great idea to take off work for three reasons....1. Snow 2. I love Snow 3. It will snow in freaking Katy! It did snow, and I also got lots of monogramming done, got a pedi and mani too! :)

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving this year was spent with the spouse's side. So, we did our annual Turkey Day at Nana's house. We had a smaller turnout this year, but still a great time. Aunt Betty and Nana.

Day in Galveston

That Monday (Columbus Day) the girls and Wesley went down to Galveston for the day. And, to show it to Nat for the first time. I hadn't seen it since Hurricane Ike either.
