Is it already football season???

Okay, so I changed the colors of our family page to purple and gold....can anyone guess why??? As of right now, Kyle can rattle off how many hours and minutes until LSU plays....and it is pretty soon. Please keep me in your prayers! :) Should be a long season for Maddie and I...I can already feel it. But, hopefully the new house projects will keep me busy and away from the living room where things get thrown at bad calls and you get yelled at if you are blocking the tv.

On a side note, Kyle and I went to the gym tonight (that we joined last November) for the first time together. We are going to be one of those married couples that will try to get in shape together and eat our Subway sandwiches for dinner! I hope we can keep it up!

Isabel's 2nd Birthday!

Miss Isabel turned 2! It is hard to believe! Seems like yesterday we were anxiously awaiting her arrival! She gets more and more precious everytime we see her. Talking up a storm and using full sentences. She absolutely loves Dora the Explorer and we watched several Dora episodes on the tv. Her new favorite words are No, No. :) We even heard her sing, You are my Sunshine. We had such a good time with Eric, Genevieve, Genevieve's parents, and of course, back from Bahrain: Mom and Dad C! :)

San Antonio, TX

Kyle and I made our first trip as a married couple (besides our honeymoon). We also realized this was the first trip we ever made together that wasn't to go visit family or friends...it would be just us! :) We chose San Antonio because Kyle had never been, and had never seen the Alamo. We booked a room at the Crowne Plaza on the Riverwalk. We had a great time!
