Bravo! Raw Diet

If you are a raw veteran or a newbie, premade diets can be very helpful stepping stone tool! There are a wide variety of premade raw diets. Some are meat and organ only, and some have ground bone and veggies added in as well.
Premade raw diets are great for when you forget to defrost dinner, adding in 'exotic' meats you might not find at the store (bison, rabbit), and they are very convienent for those times when you are traveling or boarding your dog and don't want to haul around an ice chest of random meat parts and squishy organs.
There are many different companies that make premade raw, but today lets focus on one specific brand, Bravo! Raw Diets. I chose Bravo! because they package their diets in the 'chub' form, versus premade patties or medallions, that will cost more. Bravo! Chubs come in 1, 2, and 5lb chubs.
Bravo! products have several different varieties of chubs.
Original - Premium grade ground meats, organs, bone and vegetables. Comes in chicken, beef, turkey, lamb and pork varieties.
Basic - Premium grade ground meats, organs and/or bones. No veggies. Comes in chicken, turkey, lamb, rabbit, ostrich, elk, duck and quail varieties.
Boneless Meat - Just as it says, no ground bone. This would be a good choice if you wanted to customize your own diet (add your own ground bone, supplements, organs). Comes in Beef & beef heart, buffalo, venison and salmon varieties.
I personally have only tried the Original formula. It's a house favoite here! It is a little bone heavy (like most premade diets), so I would not recommend feeding a premade diet as the main diet. Supplementing with other fresh meats while feeding Bravo! can help even out digestive problems.
-A raw diet is not for everyone. Please do all the research you can before switching your dogs diet.

Raw Meaty Goodness

The other day Mommy pulled out a hunk of beef that had been sitting in the freezer for about 2 months, about the last time Mommy stacked up on meat for me. I absolutely LOVED it! Mom even got a vid of me 'flossing my teeth'... heehee... :)
