After 25 hours of driving and countless hours of searching, we finally found a house in Abilene! We are so excited! If all goes according to plan (cross your fingers and toes) we should have the keys to our new home and seal the deal by August 1st (if not sooner)!

Bird Park

During our relaxing weekend we took Shelby to the bird refuge park and walked around the lake and found some fun trails. She LOVED it! The sun had almost gone down so the pictures aren't that great. We are grateful the nights cool down here in sunny AZ!

It's A No Go

So I had this great opportunity to try for my ultimate dream job! They loved my stuff, but through a series of might I say 'weird' events...they ended up with A LOT of great ideas from me and others...but they won't return any attmepts at contacting them. Oddly they never let me know they posted my work on their blog nor did I get the credit. Oh well. Live and learn. I should have said my stuff is proprietary. I was a little bummed that they posted it as it was more of a rough idea and I didn't quite get to touch it up as I'd liked. Anyhow, here is the link and below is a picture of it that they took.
