Haircut

We were loving Taylor's long curly hair but when Dad was going to get his haircut Taylor also wanted his done. After two Dum-Dums, and a few tears at Great Clips we lost the curls.

Things about Taylor

I wanted to write down a few things that I love about Taylor right now.

I love....
*his smile in the morning and when he says "Hello" or "Morning" or "Love You"
*when he hears the dogs barking and he says "Dre, Boggo, QUIET"
*when he lifts up my shirt and rubs my belly and says "Hello babies"
*when he randomly comes over and says "Hug" and wants a big hug from me
*when Dave comes home and Taylor, screams and laughs while running to the door
*when Taylor wakes up from his naps and looks at me with his head tilted to the side and says "Dada, Home?" (I hate to tell him that dad is still at work)
*when he says "Please" or "Thank You" or "Sorry" because he says it in a sweet voice with his head tilted and smile on his face

He is at such a fun stage and I love being around him all day. Don't be fooled though, he is having his 2 year old moments. He has started hitting me and throwing things when he gets upset. He also likes to push kids littler than him or grab a toy out of their hands. We have some work to do in those areas. But when he smiles and says "Sorry" I just can't be upset at him long.

Big Boy

A couple weeks ago Taylor moved into his new bedroom. We had been working on painting and decorating for a few weeks and Taylor was getting so excited. The move was very smooth and Taylor loves being in his new ski room. He sleeps better in his big boy bed than he did in his crib. I think it is because he actually keeps his blankets on and is all warm and cozy. Luckily for me, he still has not got out of the bed on his own. He just wakes up and talks to himself until I hear him and come in. I hope it stays that way for awhile. Unfortunately, last night he fell out of his bed for the first time. He screamed loud and cried for a few minutes but he was not injured. I don't think he remembers it and he landed on a pillow that was laying on the floor. Hopefully, he was not traumatized by it.

Why Taylor LOVES his Dad!

Tonight I had to unexpectedly work and left Dave with Taylor. I got a phone call from them at 7:30 telling me about their fun filled evening. Taylor said "Ice Cream and Train." Dave then explained that they took trax to the Gateway in Salt Lake and went to the Build-a-Bear store, the water feature, and the ice cream store. They also stopped by Temple Square. What a fun night for boys night out. Taylor loves trains, water, and ice cream, what could be better? THANKS DAVE!
