Namaste Inc.

My thoughts

So, I am sitting here thinking about my day.  It's been one of THOSE days.  I keep thinking of the old song- "Mama said there'd be days like this."  I've been having A LOT of THOSE days lately.  It's been a very trying time around here in regards to my boys.  They say God never gives you more than you can handle, but I'm beginning to question His confidence in me!!  I know the ages of 2 and 3 can be particularly trying for any parent, but I feel that dealing with two boys at the same time is a lot to handle.  The whining, fighting, and not listening has just about been more than my nerves (and patience) can handle.  Some days one boy will be good and the other will be more difficult spirited.  Lately, both have been very spirited, and these are the days that are the hardest.  I spend a lot of time laying in bed wondering how to handle what I have been facing.  It's draining.  Please don't think that I am throwing a "pity party" because that is not the objective of this post.  I am just putting some thoughts down in hopes that it makes me feel better.  And no matter how challenging the boys are, I love them more than words can say.  They can be so unbelievably sweet that my heart just melts.  They are my baby boys (they will always be my babies- even when they are over 6 feet tall...as I'm sure they will be).  Right now I just am frustrated- as all parents get with their children.  Well, enough of this- I'm going to relax and enjoy the rest of my evening, and try not to think about kids...yea right!!!      

4 months!!

So, you are 4 months old now and I cannot believe how fast time has flown!!!  On your 4 month birthday we went to the circus.  You were so good- as you always are!!  You actually sat there and watched part of it- you were fascinated by all the lights and action.  Then you settled in for a nap, and woke up and entertained those around us.  

You still nurse so well and efficiently!!  Only about 5-7 minutes and that will last you!!  I'm guessing my milk is really good and rich!!  (sorry if that is too much for some of you!)  You still sleep well and sleep a lot!  You are now doing "angel talk" and it is just music to my ears.  So precious!

We had your 4 month check up and you weighed 14 lbs. 4 oz. and were 24 1/2 inches long.  You are growing so fast!!! 

You can:

roll over now from back to tummy

chew on your hands or mommy's clean fingers forever!! (no teeth buds yet though)

GIGGLE!!!  such a sweet sound!!

laugh at your brothers

smile so sweetly at everyone

sit in your bumbo chair and watch mommy work

sleep so soundly in mommy and daddy's arms

go with the flow and adjust to whatever is going on

get everyone eating out of the palm of your hand!!!

I love you so much sweet girl.  Can't wait to see what the next month will bring- we will start cereal!!  I love being your mommy and will ALWAYS be here for you- no matter what.  And always remember that I love you to the moon and back!

 

The Greatest Show On Earth

We took the kids to the Barnum and Bailey Circus a couple weeks ago.  It was such a fun time!!  It was in Colorado Springs, and I LOVE to go there and visit.  It is beautiful there!  And the temperature was in the 60's.  After a week of near 100 degree temps it was a nice change!!  So, here are some pictures of the circus!!  It also happened to be Ladybug's 4 month birthday.  So, I didn't get my normal 4 month picture, but I did get one of her with Daddy.  I will do her 4 month update in a different post!!

 

The Wedding

Last month we went to a wonderful, beautiful wedding.  My husband's brother got married and it was so such a fun time with everyone!!  The boys were ring bearers and the hubby was one of the best men.  It was so nice to see everyone and we made some wonderful memories.  Here are some pictures!!

We had a wonderful weekend- my husband's brother got married!!  It was such a wonderful wedding!   But can you believe I didn't use my camera once!!!  I always had to take so much stuff everywhere we went that I just relied on everyone else to use theirs!  So, once I get some pictures I will post them.  Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!!
