March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: Sensational Season

Welcome to my corner of the blog hop! If you have arrived from Kathleen's blog then you are on the right path!
This month we are featuring Sensational Season- a super sweet stamp set that has definitely turned my thoughts to spring!!

To create this card I used the On the Edge pattern from Wishes, Mayberry paper, Pink Ribbon Collection, our 2" scallop punch and our watercolour pencils. A very simple but cute card!

Now hop on over to Jill's blog to see what she has created!

Stamping with Liquid Applique Card

This is a picture of the card I created using the stamping with liquid applique technique I showed in yesterdays video. To create this I used the Wings Creative Basics paper and ribbon and the Trees and Things stamp set.

Counting Board Book

I would love to be able to claim this project as my own- but, this was created by the very talented people in the art studio at CTMH. I LOVE it!! This set is created using our My Creations Board Book, Mayberry Paper and the Fill in the Blanks Stamp Set (which I totally need to get!)
Check out all the cute pages below- I know I will be replicating this for sure! I have three cousins and a very good friend who are all expecting and this book would be a great addition to a baby gift!

To us it was a HUGE deal!!

A while back, my friend Sarah and I flew to Salt Lake City for a CTMH weekend event. It was a bit of a whirlwind but we had an amazing time!! During out time we were able to rent a car and go and see some sights- the best one was finding CTMH headquarters!!

We were like crazed kids we were so excited! We even went into the lobby and had our photo taken by the lovely girl at the front desk- we introduced ourselved and said we were consultants and she said, "Oh I know, I could tell." That made us laugh- I mean who else but one of us would find this a major highlight of their trip!! But, now I can check it off my bucket list!

Artwork from my team Stamp Camp

Every catalogue release my upline and I hold a Stamp Camp for our team and some customers. This event does double duty for all of us - gives us time to crop and see the new product samples AND allows us time to conduct some team business meetings. Today I thought I would share with you some of the artwork from our day.
The first card (above) is one that I designed and led participants through for a make and take - I love doing these as all proceeds go to Operation Smile AND everyone has a good time being creative!
The cards below are made by team members- now I have forgotten which cards were created by who so if you see this post and I missed you let me know and I will fix things to give you your credit! I believe the first three were created by the talented Michelle Hughes (sadly, not sure of who did the last two).

There was lots more artwork than this but I just wanted to share a sampling today!
Hope you enjoyed!

These are two that are part of my upcoming workshop AND they were used in out latest team meeting. This is a great project to do with any age group- especially for your children as a treat for school!!
What are you doing for Valentine's Day this year? If you have any craftly plans let me know in my comments below!!

A Pirate's Treasure!!

It all began with an idea and an invitation- Austin decided he wanted to have a Pirate themed party for his 7th birthday. I (not really thinking it over) said sure!!
Yikes!!
Well it turned out well even if it was lots of work- he was happy and I got lots of compliments (which makes the hours I put into it a little more manageable!)
It began with his invite- very cute. I created this by using a clear sheet of the mix n mingle album with the chipboard piece as the back of the card. They were attached with ribbon on the sides. The paper used is from the passages kit and the stamp is from a Halloween set called Halloween Parade - I just masked out his treat bag. On the inside (hidden by the front piece) is the party instructions.

Here is my now 7 year old son dressed up in his pirate clothes- complete with gross pirate teeth!! He looked so good and the other kids looked amazing too!!

Our pirate cake- created by Lori Barker from Cake Envy (even though Austin is under the impression that Buddy from Cake Boss made it!)
We also had a pirate pinata filled with gold coins AND a treasure hunt to find a chest full of jewels!! It was a crazy few hours but everyone left happy.
