July Stamp of the Month: Happy Forever

Welcome to the July Stamp of the Month- this month we are a big group but that just means there will be more ideas to help you plan your next project so make sure you visit them all!
This month we are featuring the set "Happy Forever"- super-cute little hedgehogs are a large part of this set!

This is a card I created the other day- started off with a Christmas idea (it was Christmas in June in our town so I was feeling the vibe) and I think I ended up with a valentines card instead! I used some CTMH paper from a few years back- Everlasting. The card pattern is from one of the Wishes workshops. The green ribbon, staples and embroidery floss are all CTMH.

My flower was created following my Creating Keepsakes July/August magazine instructions (found on page 22 if you get this mag!). It looked easy but I think the wired ribbon I chose made it harder than it needed to be. I LOVE to make fun and different flowers and really felt the need to try this one out!

Enjoy and be sure to hop on over to Sarita's blog next!

Cute Party Invitation

My son received this invitation to a friends birthday party- I immediately feel in love with it! It is cute and simple- my kind of invitation, especially for a child's birthday party!
The paper used is CTMH's Blue Ribbon

Counting down many things.....

This is a layout I finished a few months ago but never did share! I have been very busy this last month with many family and work commitments but now I find myself counting down....
1 more day of Kindergarten for Austin (and then he becomes a big boy!!)....
2 more days of work until summer holidays for me...
3 more days until the July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop...
5 more days until we leave on our family trip to Washington, DC....
8 more days until CTMH Convention (Whoo hoo!!)....
so anxious for it all and yet sadly I know it will be gone before I know it!!
