Easter FUN!!!

Lovin' this egg coloring stuff!
"Look at all my eggs!"
Tanner's amazing egg dying skills.
The finished product!
Tanner had so much fun coloring the eggs, I only did two of them. He even put on all the different faces and thought it was pretty cool!
Getting ready to get some eggs!

" I found one!"
Hop Hop Hopping like a Bunny!
Getting sleepy...
And he's out!

The Easter Bunny came!

Tanner's basket/sand bucket
"Where's the bunny?"
"Look what I found... candy!"
Tanner sharing his toys with dad. Now they can race!
Tanner went to sleep after all the fun activities Saturday, so the Easter Bunny came while he was sleeping. When Tanner woke up I said, "The Easter Bunny came and left something for you, do you want to see?" His eyes got big and he said excitedly, "Yeah!" But when he got into the livingroom he wasn't looking at his stuff but was wondering where the bunny was! Oops!!

San Diego Pharmacy Convention 2008

Andrew and friends outside San Diego LDS Temple
Scott, Dirk, and Andrew
Livin' it up while Jenny and Tanner are in below freezing weather!

I think Andrew is spending a little too much time with these guys!

Check out the Marshall Islands!

San Diego LDS Temple

Look how green!
Andrew went to San Diego for 5 days with a bunch of people from school for a Pharmacy Convention. As you can see he had plenty of time to play as well!

Mom come watch me!!

Tanner loves basketball and has been going outside everyday lately to play. Him looking through the screen is him saying, "Come watch!" I snapped a picture of him shooting the ball that actually did go in. He can be really good sometimes, other times not so lucky. But hey... he's learning. Today he crawled up the stand and was hanging from the rim. How it didn't tip over "I don't know?" But he thinks hanging on it is pretty cool too!

Feelings got hurt!

I was turning on the computer today when Tanner kept trying to push buttons, so I pulled him back and said, "You have to wait!" It hurt his feelings and he ran out of the room crying. He didn't come back in, so not even 5 minutes later I went to see what he was doing because it was way to quiet and this is what I found. Tanner asleep with his head hiding under the pillow....from me! :(

The Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City

For Andrew's school spring break we decided to go to Kansas City for a few days and play around. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge, highly recommended if you have kids. It has a indoor/outdoor waterpark. Only the indoor was right now, (since one day it was snowing outside.) Arcade, craft making, coloring, etc. It was a lot of fun for us all!

The hotel had a lot of really cool things to do and look at. I think it was probably just as much fun for Andrew and I as it was for Tanner.
The hotel had a story time out in the lobby every night so we went to check it out, afterwards a special visitor came. Tanner was unsure of the wolf at first but then thought he was pretty cool and even gave him a hug!
Howwwwwling like the wolf!
After swimming one morning we came back to our room and stripped Tanner down to take a bath. He quickly ran over to the table were he had left his breakfast and finished it.... naked!

The GWL Waterpark

This big bucket dumps 1000 gallons of water every 5 minutes. Andrew went and stood under it and said it about knocked him down. Kids would run over to stand under it for fun. It even pulled one mans shorts a little bit to far down for eyes to see!

We all had a lot of fun, especially to be out of freezing cold weather and feeling tropical. All inside of course, but it sure didn't feel like it. Tanner went down the kiddy slides a millions times and loved playing with a bucket that he would fill up and dump on people's heads when they walked by.
The second day we were there Tanner had a life jacket so we decided to take him down the "big slides". They say you have to be 48in. tall but would let kids go if they could hold on to the tube handles. So we took him up the tower, the life guard grabbed him and put Tanner in the front hole. I quickly became worried and asked if he could sit between Andrew and I. He told us he had to be in front and for Andrew and I to sit down. I instantly was regretting even trying to do it. My feet went in the front hole under Tanner who was holding on as tight as he could and the life guard gave our tube a good push. Off we went, to what I didn't know.... a black hole slide. It went pitch black for almost the whole ride and because there was 3 of us on the tube we gave a big splash at the end which of course soaked Tanner completely. He started to cry a little but stopped so I told Andrew to take him on one that wasn't dark. So Andrew climbed the tower again and they went down a slide that was light and didn't get splashed in the face at the bottom. But poor Tanner was still upset and fearing the "Dark scary slide" and didn't want anything to do with anymore slides. So something we were trying to make fun ended up scaring the poor boy even more! Sorry Tanner! He ended up not even wanting to go down the kiddy slides again. So we played a lot of basketball, bucket tipping, and lazy river!
Overall it was a much needed fun spring break for us all and are glad we spent the money to go!

Shopping and GWL arcade

These dino's were at the outdoor shopping center just down the street from our hotel. Tanner thought they were awesome and got mad when we had to leave.

You pass the arcade every time you go down to the water park and Tanner always wanted to "Go play games". So one night we went down to let him play around. He loved trying out all the different games and guns to play with. And the best part about it was Andrew and I didn't even put any money into the machines. :) He didn't know the difference and Andrew and I had fun pretending. I know... we are ghetto parents!
