Spellbinders:: Stylish Oval Collection

Spellbinders recently released a new collection: Spellbinders Stylish Ovals Collection. I had the great pleasure to play with some products from this beautiful, classic collection.

The above card features the Beautiful Butterflies 3D Embossing Folder which is a 5.50 x 8.50-inch embossing folder with a wonderful background filled with fluttering butterflies and sweet botanical designs. I kept my design simple: I embossed a pink cardstock panel with the Beautiful Butterflies 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to a white cardstock base, featuring the DEBOSSED side. I then added a sentiment strip using the Fill My Heart Sentients Clear Stamp Set, also from the Stylish Ovals Collection.

I love the simplicity of the card design, as it lets the beautiful embossing and classic font shine.

This second card features just the lovely Fill My Heart Sentients Clear Stamp Set, also from the Stylish Ovals Collection. I stamped the lined, floral image twice, flipping the card panel in my MISTI for perfect placement. I colored the images with Copic Markers. I then added another sentiment panel with one of the many sentiments included in the Fill My Heart Sentients.

Catherine Pooler Designs newest collection, the Soda Pop Collection is available now! The retro images and the nostalgia of the trends and fashions of years gone by is reflected in the collection and is perfect for masculine cards, father's day, anniversaries and even a just because "love you" card. This collection also includes the new GRAYS!

My card today features some items from the Feelin' Fizzy Bundle. I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base, onto which I stamped one of the soda pop lids from Feelin' Fizzy Stamp Set in Pebble Ink, filling in areas with the retro star image stamped in Hoodie. 

I then finished the card with some accessories stamped and die cut with the ie cut some of the soda bottle images in one of the new grays, Hoodie, from the Feelin' Fizzy Stamp Set and coordinating Feelin' Fizzy Die Set. Ink colors include the new Slate, Oh Boy!, Something Borrrowed and Midnight.

Soda Pop Love

 

Catherine Pooler Designs has a new collection releasing soon, and it is so much fun! The Soda Pop Collection was created to celebrate dads and granddads! The retro images and the nostalgia of the trends and fashions of years gone by is reflected in the collection and is perfect for masculine cards, father's day, anniversaries and even a just because "love you" card. This collection also includes the new GRAYS!

My card today features some items from the Feelin' Fizzy Bundle. I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base, onto which I blended Oh Boy! ink onto the background, along with some bubbles from Feelin' Fizzy Stamp Set. I then stamped and die cut some of the soda bottle images in one of the new grays, Hoodie, from the Feelin' Fizzy Stamp Set and coordinating Feelin' Fizzy Die Set. I stamped the "soda" in Over Coffee and Pink Champagne Inks. After the bottles were arranged on the card, I added some hand drawn details of eyes, smiles and arms to make them come to life.

I finished the card with a sentiment from Feelin' Fizzy Stamp Set and a die cut from the Retro Love Word Dies.
