18 months!

Wow! It is so crazy to think that Jackson has been in our little family for 18 months already!
What a joy he is in our lives! He is mischievous, sweet, and so smart!
When we went to his doctor's appointment and I talked about his talking she asked, "So how many words would you say Jackson knows, like 20? " "Oh no, way more than that! Probably 200?!" I really don't know how many words he really knows but I am starting to make a list. : ) She said, "Wow, that is fantastic! The average 18 month old only says 6 words." I was so shocked! Jackson says more than six sports!! So we are feeling pretty good about how great he is doing, especially after such a rough start to his little life!
Jackson found his uncle Spencer's guitar and said "gitar". He plays quite well. : )

"Gama G.G." had an awesome "ballyoon" man for him. He loved it!

Park City Trip #2

We spent the weekend in Park City with Jared's family at their timeshare.
We had so much fun. Jackson loved swimming in the pool and running
around everywhere. Jared's brother from St. George and his girlfriend came up,
then his brother who is selling in California came back for the weekend. So
we tried to spend as much time up there as possible. Well worth the trips!
We also went on a hike up guardsman pass, which is next to Deer Valley
Ski Resort. It was a dirt road so it wasn't too tough. The view was amazing!
I couldn't believe there was still snow in the middle of June!

Park City...What a beautiful place!!

Our New Car!!

Jared and I made our first big purchase together last Saturday when we
bought a new CAR! (Well it is new to us!)

(And technically it is not a car either.)

We bought a Nissan Murano. We really needed something

with four wheel drive after our Christmas snow experiences in 2008.

So we found this Murano at Mark Miller Toyota in SLC and it was perfect for us.

By the way, in the first picture I just landed from a 'toyota jump' (you know what I mean right?).
Jackson loved it as you can tell, but Jared just thought I was crazy as you can also tell. :)
