Happy Halloween!

So wow, I am terrible at blogging apparently. This year, the girls dressed up as Wyoming Cowboys cheerleaders. We had bought a little cheerleader outfit from a random Walmart in wyoming when we visited there this summer. We bought it for Lilly and just a pack of Wyoming onesies for Elise to wear. We were planning on Elise wearing Lilly's old outfit; a cow costume, but we could only find the head! Lol. So I just made a tutu to go on top of one of the onesies for Elise. It turned out pretty cute. I just loved my cute girls. We only took them to 5 houses because it was raining so bad. Lilly actually was ready to go home after the first house because she was so anxious to eat her candy. lol! So fun! We also carved pumpkins... Well, Dev carved one small one and Lilly painted another. She had lots of fun. Elise loved sticking her hand in the pumpkin Dev carved... LOVED the squishiness... Lilly HATED it the first year we did it... she wouldn't touch it. Elise was crying off and on during the pumpkins because we weren't letting her stick her hands inside the pumpkin as often as she'd like to. Silly girl. We took them trick or treating and it was raining like crazy outside. So we only went to five houses and the girls were very happy with it. They don't get candy too often, so getting just one would have been enough for them!

Elise 8 Months

So I'm not going to try to catch up on EVERYTHING that has happened in this past year. I can't believe that I haven't blogged in a YEAR... that's just ridiculous. Elise is the biggest thing that happened in our lives last year. October 17th 2011 Elise Lorain Bagley was born! She weighed in at 9 lbs 7 oz and was 21 inches long. She was a big girl! We ended up inducing me with her because I had gestational diabetes this time around and they did an estimated fetal weight and thought she was 9 lbs 2 oz. Soooo they induced me. It took all day. Elise is now 8 months old and here are a few things she can do: She has two bottom teeth!!! She had a REALLY hard time with teething compared to Lilly. With Lilly's first teeth, we didn't even know she was teething. Elise has been pretty miserable. She loves little mum mums and chewing on everything. At first she HATED any green veggies... green beans and peas being the two worst... but now she doesn't MIND them as much. :) So far her favorite foods are carrots, pears, sweet potatoes, and applesauce. She also loves oatmeal and rice cereal. She is trying to pull herself up on everything! She is VERY mobile and all over the place. She CAN crawl, but still relies on army crawling everywhere. Anything she comes across on the floor goes right in her mouth. I forgot about how CLEAN the floor has to be with a crawling baby! She is going through another bout of stranger danger. Her separation anxiety from Mommy is full throttle right now, so she wants me and only me... Which is cute, but not at the same time. :) She absolutely loves her sister! She just lights up when she sees Lilly and loves to watch her and learn from her. It's so cute to watch them together. It just melts my heart. Right now she is about 19 lbs and going strong! She has had so many bouts of sickness, though...and we feel so bad for her. Lilly is definitely sharing all her sicknesses with Elise that she catches from nursery... She definitely doesn't have as much hair as Lilly did, and it is definitely coming in blonde! So fun! I love her. She looks just like me when I was a baby. We love having two beautiful girls! They make our lives fun and interesting every day! :)

3 Years!

Happy Anniversary to me! :) Lol. Today is mine and Dev's 3rd anniversary. I can't believe that 3 years have gone by already. So much has happened! I just want to say how great my husband is. I'm so lucky to be married to him. He's such a hard worker and loves his daughter so much! Every day at the end of the day when it's time for him to come home, Lilly gets all excited and starts saying, "dada??" And looks for him until he gets home. Her face lights up when he finally gets there and you can tell how much she loves him. She absolutely loves him reading books to her. She'll grab a book and run to him excitedly and back up into his lap to sit down with the book. It's so cute.

Dev and I won't be spending our anniversary together, however, because he is in Houston for a work training team building thing... He left the morning of Father's Day and won't be back until late Friday night. No fun. We celebrated before he left on Saturday night. We went to dinner with Lilly at Black Angus. It was a good time and we celebrated Father's day along with it.

K, now it's the 22nd... lol, I didn't get this post done on time! Got sidetracked. Anyway, I had an okay day! My friend Brooke and I went out to dinner at Applebee's with our girls (hers is 10 days younger than Lilly) and had a yummy dinner. Then we came back to my house and watched a movie. Wasn't too bad! I got to talk to Devan last night for only about 5-10 minutes because he needed to go to bed to be ready for presentations they had to give today, and he's two hours ahead of me. :( Sad face.
I'm so lucky, again, to be married to Devan. He's such a hard worker... he puts up with my moods, he loves his daughter so much and loves playing with her, he helps around the house and the yard... it's endless with how much he helps! I love him so much. :) I'm including some pics of Dev and Lilly and some videos that are just funny. :)
