Disneyland Day 1

Friday morning we went to pick up our tickets from a little shady unmarked building. We bought them from Ebay. When we got them we found out they were hopper passes. We weren't planning on going to California Adventure, but thought, what the heck! We spent the day going back and forth, for parades and fast pass rides. A little known fact, the two parks are separted by a courtyard, you just walk between the two. Awesome.

We were soooooooo excited!!

At C.A. on the bumper cars.

(whoops double pic, it won't let me get rid of it- so enjoy it twice.)

Watch out, Hopper!!

It's tough to be a bug, 3d show. Awesome. Here are my little buggies.

It just so happened that Ethan's bday was that weekend. What a lucky way to spend it.

I made little autograph books for the boys. They loved them.

Woody!!!
Pluto
Minnie
Chip and Dale

Jungle Cruise
Big Thunder Mountain. Colton was bearly an inch over the mark, so he went on a lot of big kid rides. He was so funny to watch. He never screamed, but had a look of extreme concern.

Rock on!

Cotton candy for Colton before the parade at C.A.

Very fun parade
This girl came up to Colton to give her a high-5, but he just stared her down. Denied!! Maybe the wild hair freaked him out.

These two fell asleep before the fireworks. It was a long day.

What a great day. Now to catch a few zzzz's, and come back tomorrow.

Disneyland-Day 2

On our second day, we had 4 free passes. Their promotion was Give a day, get a Disney day. We made blankets for Project Linus. At the time, the boys just thought we were doing service. It was a little chilly in the morning, but soon warmed up. We were ready to have fun, fun, fun!!

First thing we noticed was that the castle was a lot smaller than the one at Disney World.

Logan and I going on Space Mountain. We loved the Fast Passes, and parent exchange (?). You would get a pass so one parent could go on rides with the kids, then give the other parent the pass to go with the other kids, or the same ones if they wanted to go again. You would go through the fast pass line, so you didn't have to wait long. That way if you have little kids that can't go on big kid rides, the parent waiting doesn't miss out. Disney sure thinks of everything!

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!!! One of the kids favorites!!

We all loved the Buzz AstroBlaster's ride.

So we were trying to decide what to do next, when a castmember came up to talk to us. She asked if we had been able to go on the rides we wanted. She had this little pad of paper tickets that she filled out and gave us. It was a fast pass for our whole family for ANY ride we wanted. ANY RIDE, not just ones with fast passes. Cool, I want her magic tickets. We went to Small World and went right to the front of the handicap section and went next in line. Awesome! This is one of my favorites!

Toon Town. Really cute.
Goofy, lovable Goofy! We were standing in line to meet him and were next, when a family cut in line. Goofy (who can't talk) tried to explain with guestures, that we were next. The family didn't seem to understand. A Hispanic lady behind me says, "Goofy says, you got to get back in line!" Goofy clapped and pointed to her. She said, "I understand you Goofy, I know you can't talk, I talk for you." (So much funnier when you picture it with her thick Latina attitude)

Mickey's house. To meet Mickey, we had to go through the house, which was way cute. The washing machine was going with his clothes, you could see his big gloves. At the end was Mickey!! Ethan told him that Mickey was his favorite, to which he recieved a big hug.

Here we are by Big Thunder Mountain as the sun is setting on our last day. We had a most awesome, exciting, adventurous, memorable, crazy, and little stressful, but most AMAZING trip. Can't wait to go back!!
