i can't even explain how much i loved spending christmas with this best friend. he is an angel sent straight to me from heaven. and luckily the fam is ok with it since he has successfully charmed the heck out of every single person. yes, even gary!

my favorite part of christmas was how grateful robbie was for all his gifts. he gave me the world's tightest hug when he opened the connect wii games i gave him.
and i of course was jealous of all of audrey's gifts. princess everything. i want to be her.

this prettiest smile is graduating today! i love her more than should be humanly possible and i'm beyond proud of her. she has inspired me to figure out what i want to do with my life and go for it 100% even if a million horrible things happen along the way. no one deserves happiness more than this lady and i know being done with studying and tests will definitely make her happy! plus i'll get my teammate/wingwoman back so everyone wins.

j money and a chase killin it in that closet. j money was trying to keep it clean so he could only think to rap about about about a hickory bacon beezy. he was on fire right before this but choked when i started recording, darn it.

it was the best time i want to do 12 more just like it.

but only if it's with these girls.

end of my first leg. it was a mile longer than it was supposed to be and it was uphill against strong wind for the first half. i thought to myself multiple times on that hill that my time had come. that's how i was going to go... death by wind. but i made it and learned my lesson of pacing myself at the beginning and not getting too excited to pass people.

end of my second leg. lookin a good ol hot mess but it was so much better than the first. i started about 3 am and felt great the whole time. there's something magical about running in pitch black in the middle of the night. an oc housewife had me sprinting to the finish and i'm pleased to report that i didn't let her pass me even though it was super close.

after my last leg. 7.9 miles. i didn't walk at all which was a big deal for me so i was loving life after this. i also ran by lake mead at a really nice time of day and had some fun tunes. this song especially had me feeling real good about my race and life in general.

yeah, mane! i ran 15.7 miles total.

ragnars probably aren't a big deal to hardcore runners but for me it was huge. it was my first race longer than a 5k and i trained pretty hard for it. i feel so accomplished!

it helped that i had the best team. i'm missin these girls bad.
