Kutler + Paige = MESS!

Here are the pics from our "smash the cake" session. It was pretty hectic and I'm not quite sure I EVER want to take pictures with two babies. Hopefully no one with twins wants me to photograph them!
For some odd reason, the pictures always look better on my PIP blog so you can click here to see them a little bigger if you want.

Kutler was not a happy camper in the beginning. He hates being messy and he didn't like the cake on his feet.
Once he tasted the cake, he dove right in.

Paige

Here are the individuals of Paige.

Kutler's Birthday Portraits

Here are the individual portraits I took of Kutler before we did the "smash the cake" session with him and Paige. I love them all!

"I wanna play with that toy!"

Hayzen's new thing is to put as many toys in his wagon as he possibly can fit then make room for Kutler to sit in the back. He then proceeds to pull him all the way over to the horses where he has created a new "play spot" on the other side of the stalls. He's got everything he needs; Fidget, his brother, and his toys all in one spot. Being the good big brother that he is, he always makes sure that Kutler has a bottle of water with him so he doesn't get thirsty.

Before and After

So, I'm EXTREMELY late on this post but better late than never, right? These are from when I chopped my hair off in October of last year. Matt did a great job of taking these and I have to admit I felt pretty special being in front of the camera for once. It was a surprisingly wonderful change.

Two Peas in Pod

I tried to get some formal shots of these two yahoos. Taking photos of your own children is by far harder than taking photos of anyone else. Especially when you have to do it by yourself! But all in all, they did pretty dang good. We got some cute ones of them.

Randoms in September

This was an afternoon just after Hayzen woke up from his nap. He was still coming out of his sleepiness so he brought his pillow and blanket out and had his "brudder" lay down with him.

One night after Matt had gone to work, I noticed it was way to quiet. And at our house when it's quiet, Hayzen is definitely in to something.  I glance outside and see him in just his underwear wearing "Daddy's cowboy boots" chasing the chickens. Since I was not in the mood to chase him around I grabbed my camera and took advantage of the gorgeous evening.
This was another evening but it was so nice that I had to bring Kutler outside. He loves it I think just as much as Hayzen does.
While Matt was grooming Goldman (a client horse) Hayzen decided he wanted to help too.
These were taken while I was getting some shots of Matt riding Goldman.
Hayzen will occasionally get out this ginormous bear and wrestle with him. This particular day he wanted to snuggle with him.
