We have been very neglectful of our blog the last several months. Since I don't think I have the energy to catch everything up, and don't have pictures of most of it, I will itemize several of the things missed. I promise to do a better job of pictures starting now!

Easter 2009
We actually had a lovely day on Easter after it had been raining or snowing every day. A couple of days later it started up again, so we were glad for the nice day for egg hunting. We are always grateful for some quality cousin time and holiday family fun. This year Kyle hid eggs instead of hunting them, and we had to send eggs to Florida again for Carson and Madilyn. But we talked to them on the webcam. Overall it was a great holiday for all.

Family all Together
Kari and Joel came home to Utah to bless little Madilyn. We had a nice visit with them and are already missing them. I miss Carson following me around and taking my hand to go play. I miss him wanting Grandma to put him to bed. I miss holding little Madi and know that she will be SO MUCH BIGGER the next time we see her. We were fortunate enough to get the whole family together (minus Kyle who was off to a multi-stake dance) on Saturday for dinner, snow fun and games. We had the entire family, all 26 of us, together on Sunday for the baby blessing. Those are special times for Grandpa and I. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing our whole posterity together in one place. We must be getting old! That sounds like something my dad would have said. But......can you belive that it was so lively that we forgot to take a single picture!! Hopefully the next time will be soon!
Christmas 2008
We didn't have quite as big a group for Christmas this year, and some cousins were sorely missed by those here. Their parents too, of course! There was a huge snow storm that began Christmas Eve night, and continued all day Christmas day. It was truly an extremely white Christmas. Lori and Kevin and their four were snowed in at Lehi, and couldn't make the festivities at Grandma and Grandpa's house. And of course we were missing Kari and Joel and their two. Madilyn was the hit of the webcam, as no one had seen here at that point. Even the webcam event was a little out of sync with the family this year. However those that were here had a great time together. Tyler and Korbin were really good sports about not having a cousin gift to open, as theirs were stuck in Lehi. Tyler and Tyson passed out the gifts with a little help from their father, and Brayden and Kaleb were very efficient and handsome garbage gatherers. We had lots of good food, even with the missing Lehi assignment and good family time.
