Caleb's turns 11 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cute little buddy is not so little anymore....... How does time go by so fast???!!!! Its so hard to truely express how much this little guy means to me. He is a one of a kind kid with a heart of gold and the actions to match. He is clever, determined, honest, loving, caring, hard working, and the kind of person who would do anything for those he loves. From his very first smile he had us wrapped around his little finger. Caleb is an amazing kid with the ability to adapt to new situations with ease. He is doing very well in his 5th grade year at Oaks Elementary. He grades are solid B's and on their way up. He is enjoying playing basketball even though is team is any thing but good. Its been a great learning experience on what being a good sport is and never giving up on your team, even when you have games like 4-45. ( we were the 4) Caleb has completed his weblos badge and looking forward to becoming a boy scout. Although Caleb has had lots of good experiences his most favorite is getting a new puppy to join our family. Max is his buddy and will follow Caleb anywhere! So handsome!

Growing up tooooooo fast! (slow down!)

I am so greatful to be the mom of the greatest son in the world. Thanks for being such a good example to all of us and doing what you know is right, even if its the hard thing to do! Caleb we love you so much and wish you the best year yet! Happy Birthday!!!!!

.........................coming soon..............................

Dec. 5th....... SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is better than a snow day in Houston Texas??????? Not much! My kids were so excited to have snow come and visit the usually mild weathered Texas. It was thick, wet, and white. It only stayed for the day, but it was a fun day. After picking up the kids from an early school release, our next job was to find all the winter gear that would let us play in the snow. After a good 35 min. we emerged from the warm house out in the snow in an array of colored clothing that was quite a sight! Here are a few pictures to document our fun. We had lots of smiles, snoballs, snow angels, attacking dogs, and even little girls who wanted to eat the snow!
Allison decked out in her finest winter gear---with a snowball!

This is our silly girl who has to tell us what flavor the snow was???!!

We did it, we got a dog!

Introducing Max Tank Prince! He is a cute, fiesty, puppy full of love. Max is a plott hound/lab mix with beautiful green eyes! He is the most social dog you could ever meet, but with all the puppy tendancies like bitting, peeing when we are gone, and chewing on a few things here and there. Does that sound like fun, or just that we are crazy!!??? Maybe both..... but he sure has found his way into our hearts no matter what he does. Caleb finally has the brother he has always wanted! Max loves to talk, eat faster than anything you can ever imagine, chase kids, howl when we howl, and sleep with his neck right on top of someone elses neck.
Our Christmas Puppy Max!!

Sydney in her first production....Seussical the Musical!

Here it is the first production one of our sweet dramatic girls are a part of. Sydney and her whole second grade preformed a musical called Seussical. It was so cute, they all did a great job. Lots of songs that go right along with the Dr. Seuss books, plus actions, and parts. They all really seemed to get into it.
Here were some of the fancy hand work and lots of singing!

Sydney's big part...... " A person's a person no matter how.."
She was nervous but did great!!!!!!
That smile says it all! She's having a great time!

Here's Sydney with the fish she decorated for the decorations.

Sydny with all her adoring fans. Her cousins came to cheer her on, plus of course her brother and sisters. Grandma Prince joined the group as well! We are so proud of how well you did Sydney!
