Our trip to Maine

We added our lock of love to a fence of love :)

In September Matt and I took a trip to Maine. I had no idea how beautiful it was going to be there. Maine is somewhere Matt has wanted to take me to for years. My favorite night was the when we got a hotel right by the water and you could hear the waves crashing. I slept the best I have ever slept in my entire life that night. So calming and peaceful!!

Las Vegas!

Matt had worked really really hard to win this work trip to Las Vegas! I was so proud of him when he told me that he had won it. We fly there and stayed in the Paris hotel, we got to eat a super fancy dinner at Dave Ramsays, we got custard at a place that has been featured on t.v called Luv it frozen custard were we met friends we haven't seen in 10 years, went to Carlos Bakery, and drove a Nascar!!! It was so nice for Matt and I to get away and have time with for just the 2 of us. We realized on this trip we need to make more time for just the 2 of us to spend time together. What great memories we made. I think my fastest lap was 128mph and Matts was 143mph. Crazy!!!

Mom and Dads house

I have not been to my parents house in 8 years. Its crazy to see how much has changed in that amount of time. My parents trees have gotten so big, the little town I went to High School in is not so little anymore, and yet it still has that small town feel. It was fun to go out on Papas boat, go to the dump and drive really fast to hit the bumps,we went to a ton of farms and picked fresh fruit, my kids got to catch a fish, we saw my grandparents grave, and had the best donuts ever. It was so fun to take my kids to my parents house and where I lived for 4 years.
