Funny Friday

Rodney: I miss my Papa

I love my kids. I was baking oatmeal cookies and this was there conversation. Its so sweet to listen to little kids and there conversations, well when there not fighting :)

Wheeler Farm

On Friday me and my friend Tiffani took our kids to Wheeler Farm. It is a great place to take children not to mention its FREE!!! It was such a beautiful day and the kids loved feeding the ducks. I had to remind Rodney and Emily that the bread was for the ducks not to eat :) It was so nice to be outside with the kids and they loved seeing the horses, pigs, goats, ducks, and birds. It was so much fun!

Happy St Pattys Day!!

A bunch of us girls took our kids to the park and we had a picnic with our friends it was so much fun. It was so hard to get a good picture of all of them but we always have fun when with our friends especially on a day like today when its warm outside:)

Silly Sunday

Saturday night I put Karlees hair up in curlers and it was so nice because we have church at 9am and all I had to do was take them out and her hair was done. We have done this for the last several yrs. (not every Sunday but a couple times a yr) it saves a ton of time. After church Rodney wanted Karlee to read him a book before he had a nap and I went in to check on them and Rodney was wearing my goggles I had from my eye surgery. It was sooooo funny, I had to take a picture. He has worn them every day since, he is a true Superhero!

Time for Dinner

So I told the kids they needed to get up to the table because it was time to eat dinner. I started scooping up there dinner and looked over and to my surprise Emily had climbed up and got in the chair herself! This is the first time she has ever done that and I was so surprised that she got up into a Big chair by herself. I mean don't get me wrong this girls is a climber she loves to crawl into the bathtub, climb up onto Rodneys queen size bed, stand on the table in the girls room but this was the first time she had done this and she looked so cute and so BIG!

Well I am sorry baby but soon enough you will be there but for now you need to eat in your highchair. I love you Lulu!

I love my lil guy

Rodney has been expressing that he really wants to play football, basketball, baseball and soccer! He doesn't have a helmet so he came up with one on his own. This is a food basket that he uses for a helmet and if you look closely you can see Karlees necklace going around his neck and under his arms. He tells me this is what he wears to play football. I sure love him!! Next month Rodney and Karlee are going to play soccer, they are even on the same team. So I think that will be really fun for him!

Oh no not again!!!!

I had Lasik Eye Surgery a year ago and they said I need to do it again. I am really nervous about it so keep me in your thoughts and prayers today!

Silly Rodney

Last night I said to Rodney,

Me: you need to come sit at the table its time for dinner
Rodney: Mom can I watch TV for 1 more minute
Me: No you need to come and sit at the table
Rodney: Oh, come on mom this is serious!

I laughed so hard he is soooooo funny

Also the other day Karlee surprised us and got dressed before she came and told us good morning. Matt and I made a big deal, letting her know that she was such a big girl, she looked cute and we were proud of her. Rodney looked down to see that he was still in his PJ's and said, " I look terrible." It was so sad and funny at the same time. We assured him that even in him PJs he was still very handsome but he made it clear he needed to get dressed right away!
