New Goodies for sale.....

Hi everyone,

After a much-needed break, I am happy to say that I listed several new items on my Goodies for Sale  page today.  I also reduced prices on some of the times which have not sold.   NOTE:  I accept only PayPal payments.  My apologies, but I simply do not get out to a bank and we do ALL our banking online.  Additionally, I am now shipping to the USA Only - I ship exclusively from my home and ship all order via USPS First Class or Priority Mail.    Thanks for your understanding.
Once again, I want to thank everyone who has make purchases and I sincerely hope everyone has been happy with their orders.  To date, all orders are now shipped and have been received.
I'm still continuing my Cancer battle and will be back at the hospital again on Monday, for an updated Brain CT (always a bit stressful), and then will meet with my Oncologist on Tuesday to review the results and have my lab work for my next "Opdivo" treatment currently scheduled for Wednesday.  Needless to say, it will be a busy week next week, so please bear with me, if it takes a bit longer than normal to respond to your emails.
Thank you all so much for your continue support -- I have two rooms full of craft goodies to go through, and it's taking time!   If there are any particular items you are looking for, please feel free to email me.

I am taking.....

.....a much needed little break to continue with my Cancer Battle.

This is my treatment week and I need to put all my energy into going through it again and thn resting up for the next round.    I have my 9th Opdivo Treatment tomorrow and each treatment is becoming a bit more exhausting, which is very typical.

I also have a very special birthday this weekend -- My son Alex, turns 24 and I hope to have extra time with him and Acacia.

My sincere THANKS to everyone who has been shopping on my "Goodies For Sale" page, which I have now taken offline during this break.  ALL orders are currently shipped and the vast majority have already been received.   If you have any concerns or questions on your most recent order, please email me, but know it may take me an extra day to write back.

Have a wonderful week and see you all again soon!!

...and I'm back....

...happily again with some brand new cards to share!   All of these were inspired by some of my favorite challenges.

I'll start with my first card which I created the current challenge over at Cas(E) this Sketch, Challenge # 167.

I used my Hero Arts Ombre inks to create the pretty pinky/orange background and then using a simple  a label die cut out the three strips and added on the Love die sentiment which is from Simon Says Stamp.

Keeping in with using more of my favorite Hero Arts goodies, I created this card on a Water colored background for the current "Watercolor Challenge over at the a2z Scrapbooking blog.   This pretty floral "Mum" die cut is from Hero Arts and as is the "thanks" sentiment.

My next two cards feature a gorgeous new Stamp Set, called "Spring Flowers", a new favorite this is one of the latest Simon Says Stamp exclusives.   My first card was created for the current "Spring" themed challenge that SSS is hosting over at the Flickr Group.   This card was colored in my favorite pink and purple Copic colors and then coated with a layer of sparkle, using a Wink of Stella marker.

Using the same stamps, but with new colors, I then created this card, which will be submitted to this month's "Spring Fling" challenge over that the "Love Handmade Cards Group", also on Flickr.

And that is it for today!   I am very happy to be having a wonderful good day and hubby and I are now going to get ready to go out for a late lunch/early dinner.  It's going to be so nice to get out the house a little bit!  YAY!!

Thanks once again to everyone who has been shopping my Craft "Goodies For Sale" page.   As of this morning, all orders are now shipped and I also updated the store with some nice products!!    Hope you all have a wonderful weekend....

Happiness is.....

....Creating..!!   And it's been days and days since I have made a card.  Today, I am very excited and happy to share a few new cards that I started working on yesterday.

I realized I needed some birthday cards and when I first began, I was really wiped out, so I knew I needed to make some very CAS style cards.   And one way I do that is by using "Stickeroos", by Penny Black, which  is exactly what i used on these!   Super easy, and fun and once you add few layers and some bling, they are pretty nice, plus they look even better in person.

And today, after feeling much better, I was so happy to be back and my desk where I made these new cards.  My first card was inspired and created for this week's Muse Challenge.  It's also the first time I've played in a challenge for weeks, and boy it is fun!!!~

This next card was created with my love of "Pups" in mind and was inspired by a sweet and adorable card that my online craft friend, Ardyth sent to me.   If you know me, you know that I absolutely love dogs and have two sweet Chiweenie's (Skye and Zeva), who I adopted through a Rescue.  I'm also very honored and proud to be a Volunteer for "Paw Affection Dachshund Recuse" based here in Massachusetts.  Every time we find a new home for our dogs, or receive a donation for the rescue, I create a "Thank You" card to send out.  This card will be the one that I send out to the next person, who adopts from us.
This cute Pup and Sentiment are from this sweet stamp set - Playful Pups, by Mama Elephant. It's one of my all time favorites.

I even have one more card and this one was created for the monthly Card Swap that is hosted over on Deb Nolan's Blog.   I took advantage of feeling better to sign up today for the May Card Swap and created this card, based on the May Sketch.   Note:   This is a Worldwide card swap and is open too ALL!   I love it and would love for you sign sign and join the fun.  For more details, please visits Deb's Blog - Society of Stampaholics.

My Card

Before I go, I want to say THANK YOU very much to everyone who has been so kind and supportive to me during the past year, since I started my Cancer battle. I can't begin to tell you all how much it means to me, when you sent a card.  I have every single card and will forever cherish them.  It really makes me feel wonderful when I open my mail and find a handmade card wishing me well -- it's really hard to express how that can make me smile, and some days, I really need that!!

I also want to thank every one who has been shopping from my craft stash, these past few weeks. It's so nice to have some many wonderful friends who are supporting me in my effort to sell off my craft things.  I will continue to add more and more every week and you can also email me, if you are looking for any particular product.   You can find all the sale items on the "Goodies for Sale" page.  I reduced prices and added new goodies yesterday and do my very best to update that page every day.   Thank you all so much for shopping and also sharing the page with your friends ~ You Rock!

Happy April....More Sale Items...!!

I can hardly believe it's already April, and if you live anywhere near me, I'll bet you are not happy to be looking out your windows to see it snowing...Yup!!
Typical New England weather....it's crazy!
Where is Spring!!!

I have been feeling pretty lousy for the last week or so after my latest treatment and the only cards I have created were these that I quickly put together while in Oncology on Tuesday.

I am kind of down right now, as I continue with this relentless battle.  I have not felt good in days and had to cancel out on two craft events I had been looking forward to for a long time.  If you are one of the lucky gals who will be attending Jenn Shurkus's  Loft Art Retreat, next weekend in RI, please know I WISH so much, I was with you.  I'm sure it will be a fabulous day and I am heartbroken that I had to cancel and lose out!   Cancer Sucks!!!

NOTE:  I have added MORE items to my "Goodies for Sale" page and reduced more prices.  I'm really beat, so please bear with me, if you email.  I promise to answer any and all emails as fast as I can.

Special thanks to everyone who has already shopped.  The response has been wonderful and I'm grateful for you kindness and all the sweet and caring thoughts that many of you have shared.    I am so blessed to have a wonderful world of friends, and crafting has brought many of you into my life!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
