New Sale Goodies...

Hi Everyone,

Today, I created a new page on my blog, called "Goodies for Sale", which will make it much easier for me, (hopefully), to add/edit new craft sale items.   I added several new things today and plan to continue over the next several weeks.    Please click on the Goodies for Sale tab above, to go directly to that page.

In addition, I still have several Cricut Cartridges, for sale, which you'll find in this POST.   I have many more and will eventually add those to the new sale page, once I can dig them out of my closet.

There are also a few things remaining in my weekend post, which you'll find HERE!   Feel free to ask about other items, if you are looking for anything in particular, and please feel free to email me with any questions or for shipping quotes.  I'll happily combine items to save you on the postage fees.
Please feel free to share with any of your crafty friends.  My email is:  leezza@gmail.com
Thank you!

Happy Spring.....Craft Sale...

....well at least for today...believe it or not we are expecting "Snow" tonight and that to me, is an awful thought, especially after having some wonderful Spring-like weather.   I hear we may get 4-6", thankfully, I can stay in all day tomorrow, which is my plan.

Sorry I am so behind, I had a treatment on Tuesday and have been wiped out, ever since, but this is somewhat to be expected.  I also think the time change is harder than normal making me extremely tired.

I still have several Cricut Cartridges for Sale  --  Make an OFFER !  You'll find that post HERE!  Free Shipping to the USA.   They are also posted over on Facebook, please feel free to share the links.  I have also now added a new page to my blog called "Goodies for Sale" and will now be posting all items in that one spot.
----------------------

I am also very happy to have two new cards to share, and both were created with challenges in mind.  This first card was created for this weekend's 90-Scramble over at the Hero Arts Flickr Group and the current "Sequins" themed challenge over on the "Stamp Junkies" Facebook Group.

The theme for Cindy's fun "Scramble" is called "Inside/Out", where the idea was for some part of your project/card to show from the outside.   For my first card I created a Window Card, using one of my Hero Arts Die Cut sets, and for the second one, I created a fun little Shaker Card, using my Hero Arts Dog House Die, along with a cute little set, called "Party Time" by Lia.

I really LOVE scrambles and take part in them, as often as I can.  They are so much fun and truly a challenge.  I will be hosting a Hero Arts Scramble in Late May, stay tuned for more details.

I was thrilled to be able to play today and create these two cards, it's been days since I have been in my craftroom, and as always I was missing it so much.   Have a wonderful Sunday and let's all hope the the snow somehow misses me?

Challenge Cards and more....

I took the day off yesterday to totally relax and enjoy the wonderful record high temps we had.  It was wonderful and I loved every minute of being outside...I took the pups for a short walk and then spend a good hour lying in the sun on my deck....it felt great.

Today, I made a few new cards for challenges and also have some card to share that I created Tuesday at a Stampin' Up workshop I attended at my Demo's home.  I'll start with those four cards, which were all her design.  We simply chose our own colors and how we wanted to add the elements to our cards.   I'll begin with my favorite, and I'm sure you can guess why~

Next, I have three cards, all created today with specific challenges in mind.  My first card was created for this week's CASology Challenge, where the theme is "Laugh".  I bought out a new Hero Arts set CL939 Lunch Box (such cute little bugs), along with some of my favorite SSS dies.

Hero Arts Lunch Box CL939 Clear Stamp 2016

Next, is my card for this week's Cas(E) this Sketch, and is based on this sketch, which was designed by Chrissy Larsen.

And my last card for today was created for two new Simon Says Stamp Challenges.   One being the brand new "Wednesday Challenge" A Bit 'O Green" and the second is the new "Sparkle and Shine" challenge being hosted over in their Flickr Group.  I used two of my new favorite SSS Stamp Sets, which are "Melody's Easter", I adore the sweet bunny, and my Sentiment comes from the new "Hoppy Easter" set which is also adorable.

Note:  The sweet little bow is full of sparkle and glitter and I also have a layer of glitter along the bottom, under my bunny -- Sadly, the sparkle is not showing so well in today's' pictures, I guess it's because it's dark and cloudy!

Hope you all have a very Happy Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Have you seen the New Hero Kit...

....it's gorgeous and I am happy to say that mine has been ordered and everything went through perfectly on Hero's website this month!  You can read all about it on the blog and I have also uploaded a picture of this very pretty kits, perfect for Spring

And with Spring on my mind I have two more cards to share, both created today with some new challenges in mind.  This first card was super easy to create, and it all started with the wonderful little "Stickeroo" from Penny Black.  I love them and they are the perfect answer to creating quick and easy cards.  I was also inspired by this week's new Muse Challenge and this lovely card created by Michelle Furguson.

I started by it by creating a white card from some SSS Woodgrain cardstock, and then adhered on my Stickeroo.  I then cut some thin strips (from scraps) of matching cardstock and added it to the center and down the middle.  My sentiment is from Paper Smooches and was stamped on white cardstock and then framed in black.  I finished it off with some new white sequins.

My next card was created for today's new Monday Challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Blog where this week's theme is to create your own background, which is did using watercolors and techniques that I learned in the amazing "Watercolors for Card-Makers" - Intermediate Techniques class, which is fantastic.   I readily admit I still have a lot to learn, when it comes to watercoloring, but I sure and having fun trying!  And I absolutely have loved every single one of the Watercolor Card Classes, being offered at the fabulous "Online Card Classroom".

I hand-painted the flowers and leaves based on one of the class videos and actually filled  a large sheet of watercolor paper and then simply cut out a section to create this card front.   I then layered it onto some olive green cardstock and added some more matching green strips.  The sentiment is from this new Hero Arts CL949 - Stamp Set and was stamped in black Versafine and then die-cut with an SSS Stitched Oval Die.   I also use a white Signo gel pen to add a little more detail to define my flowers.  I am totally enjoying using watercolors on my cards now, despite need a lot more practice.

Now I'm off to pack my bag for a fun Stampin' Up workshop that I'll be attending tomorrow at my Demo's house.  She hosts them every month and I have missed many due to treatments, so I super excited that I'll be able to make it tomorrow.   It's a wonderful group and I have a great demo, Margo, who you can find HERE, should you need any Stampin' Up goodies.

Have a wonderful week and be sure to stop by again soon.   I'm delighted to be back in my craftroom and hope to have new cards a lot more often now.  YAY!!

It's a beautiful day....

Every day I feel well is a blessing and I've learned to live that way for many years now, primary due to having to live with Fibromyalgia for so long, but now also because of my Cancer battle.  I also try to remember to Cherish every day and to make sure that all of my family and friends know how much I LOVE them!

As you all know, one of my greatest passions to making cards and spending time in my craft room and I'm delighted to be back at it again!    I never imagined earlier this week, that I would be feeling this well and that I'd have a bunch of new cards to share, which I'm happy to do right now.

My goal for this weekend was to try to plan in the Hero Arts "90 Minute" Scramble that was hosted by my friend, Barb in the Hero Flick Group yesterday.  You can read all about it HERE!  And I'm thrilled to have just learned that I was the Lucky Winner!!  YAY!   I won a $20 Gift Card to Simon Says Stamp, which I'm sure you know is one of my favorite craft stores!   Thank you Barb!!

I really LOVE the Scrambles and had missed many, so I was so happy when I saw that it was going to be hosted on a day and time that worked and was even more excited with Barb shared her theme, which was to us an "Angle" on your project.   Here are the two cards that I created and this first card was created with one of my newest Hero Sets (from the new release).  It's called "You're so Lovely" and you'll find it in stock over at a2z Scrapbooking!   There is also a matching die set, with the same name, due back in stock very soon!!

This card was also entered in the March / Spring - Bling Challenge hosted over at LOVE - Handmade Cards Group on Flickr, which you'll find HERE!

After I finished that card, I realized I still had time to make one more and quickly was able to get this one done and posted in time.  It's more simple, but still was fun to create.  For this cards I used the Acts of Kindness Stamp set, which is one of my favorites.  It was inspired by Jennifer McGuire, who we all know and love.

Card Supplies:
SSS Die Cut (Angles)

After creating those two cards, I was on a roll and feeling good so I kept going and made these fun new cards.   The first two featured "pups/dogs" which is always a special theme to me, because I love my pups so much.  Both were created with digi images and colored with Copics.
 Card Supplies:
Sentiment from SSS - Circle Friends

This next card was inspired by the new "Touchy Feely" challenge being hosted this week at the SSS Wednesday Challenge Blog.   The idea was to add some texture, which I did with a fun new embossing folder!!

 Card Supplies:
Stampin' Up Embossing Folder
Bazzill Cardstock (Blue/Black)
Sentiment - SSS Circle Friends

And one more, which was created with some of my favorite colors (Purple and Pink) using a fun digi image from Bugaboo Stamps.

And that's it for this weekend...but I do HOPE that I can now continue to feel great and be back with many more cards very soon.

PS:  I am super excited about a new online that I just found out about.  It's sponsored by Altenew and will be taught by the fabulous Laura Bassen starting on March 16th!!    It's called "Clean Simple and Color Techniques" -- and you can go HERE and sign up!   NOTE:  I also learned when I signed up that they offer one FREE class and several others that sound really fun!  Please join me!!!

NOTE:  Today my blog and the formatting seems to have a mind of it's own and no matter how may times I try and fix it, it is doing it's on thing! Yikes!!!   I tried, but now I'm tired of it, so I'm giving up for today!  Thanks for understanding!!

I have Excellent News!!!

My CT Results were wonderful,  my lung tumor is GONE!!   I think I am still partially in shock, but, I am SO HAPPY!

I saw Dr. O'Meara, (my Pulmonary Oncologist), today and was thrilled to learn the the CT Scan from Wednesday shows no sign on the tumor, except a tiny "blip" which they consider to be scar tissue.  On top of there is also so sign of Cancer that showed in my abdominal CT Scan-WOOHOO!!

I know I probably should be screaming from the rooftops and believe me, I am ecstatic, but if you have followed my journey you'll know that I had this same great news in August, when I learned that both my tumors (brain and lung) were gone.   I'm still thrilled and super happy that my brain tumor has never re-occurred and hope it never will...but I am cautious with the lung tumor, since we know that it already came back one, and was then larger and more aggressive.

At this time we are not sure if this is a results of the "Opdivo" treatments, the Radiation, I had in November, or a combination of both.  When I had my first follow up CT Scan after the Radiation, the tumor had shrunk, and that was at the very beginning of the Opdivo Treatments, so we all think that was a results of the Radiation.  I also learned today that "Radiation" can continue to work for up to a full year after treatment, which is also great news.

Dr. Sunkara (my Medical) and primary Oncologist, also met the the Radiologist to review my abdomen scan to be sure there is 'nothing' there and they were happy to report there is nothing they see nor any sign of colitis....which is wonderful.

Why, I've been feeling so lousy and tired, is very like still a bit of jet lag and also likely from the treatments, which will continue.  I'll be back the AGH on Tuesday for my labs and my visit with Dr. Sunkara and she does plan to continue the Opdivo Infusions with my next one scheduled for Wednesday morning!

I am SO happy, but again being cautiously optimistic.   I really want to speak more with her and ask if this is consider a form of "Remission" and if it's accurate to now consider myself to be Cancer Free!  It sure feels good and I'm hoping to celebrate this weekend.  I am feeling better and less tired, which is also great!

Special thanks for everyone who continues to pray for me, send me happy thoughts and for all the encouragement and support you have all provided to me.  I feel like this is a bit or a miracle and now hope and pray it stays gone forever!

Happy Friday!!

Today is a bit of a bittersweet day for me, as it will be my last week as a Design Team Member for the Festive Friday Group over at "The Outlawz Challenges", and possibly my last post as part of any design team, due to my health.

By the time the post goes live, I will likely be at an appointment with my Pulmonary Oncologist, where I will be reviewing the results of my most recent CT Scans, done on Wednesday.  I am hoping very much that I'll have good results, but must admit that I'm a bit anxious, because I have not been feeling very well, ever since my last "Opdivo" treatment, which was a week ago today.   As I sit and type this on Thursday afternoon, I am finally feeling a tiny bit better, but have had relentless fatigue, nausea and belly pain for the past week and it's been awful.

Because of this, and the fact that I've been too exhausted to manage to create, I have made the hard decision to step down from the team.   I feel so lousy and did not want to be a burden or not do my part, and right now I'm simply not able to keep up with designing or even posting.   Luckily, I had several cards made in advance for the challenges and today's card is the last one, which is why this will be my last week on the Festive Friday Team.   I hope you'll continue to support The Outlawz and continue to play in their challenges.  I am a prize sponsor for the next three months and have put together three awesome "Goodie Bags", which will go to one lucky winner each month.

I also want to express my thanks to a2z Scrapbooking who is now a monthly sponsor for The Outlawz and is generously donating a  $20 Gift Card to their a2z Store each month, as well as "Hero Art Digital Kit" to another winner of the Festive Friday Challenge!!

For this week's Festive Friday Challenge, as we do each week, we have four fun themes to chose from:
  • National Pig Day
  • National Agricultural Day
  • National Old Stuff Day
  • Alexander Graham Bell Day
I chose "National Pig Day"  and created with fun card with an adorable digi image from Bugaboo Stamps.  Please come on over and join the fun!  I would LOVE to see you play in my last challenge!

Thanks for stopping by, and as always Happy Creating!!

A Little About Me

My photo
Northeastern, Massachusetts, United States
Purple is my favorite color and ironically - Purple is the Awareness Ribbon color for Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness I lived with for over 18 years. In, March of 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer which had spread to my brain. I am fighting hard to win this battle and determined to beat it. I have a amazing Oncology Team, along with the LOVE and SUPPORT of all my family and friends! I am a Mom to two grown sons, Alex is now 25 and married to Acacia, my wonderful new "Daughter" and the parents to my precious Grand-Daughter Harper, and Brian amazingly is 30 and now lives in San Diego. My boys are the greatest loves of my life. Hubby, me and our two "Pups", Skye and Zeva, two adorable Chiweenies we rescued in 2012, all live very happily in a tiny coastal town in Massachusetts. We lost our dear "Scoutie", a Purebred Dachshund, in April of 2015. I still miss him and will forever cherish his memory. I am an avid card-maker and totally love every minute I can spend in my craft room. It's become my passion, a wonderful way to relax and is my form or "therapy".
