Max had his first Oreo today. He stole it from Tyson's valentines box. He loved every last bite.

Baptism

Somebody got baptized yesterday. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

Wishing

The annual breaking of the wishbone. It broke right down the middle so both kids will get their wishes this year....hopefully.

first day!

Today is the first day of school. Ty went to 2nd grade. Avery started kindergarten. The excitement in our house this morning was very high. We dropped them off at their classes and there were no tears from anyone. It has been very quiet at the house this morning. I took the other kids to the store and I could get used to just taking 2 to the grocery store with me!

I'm going to miss my kids. They are my buddies. They are such great helpers and so fun to have around. I'll be anxiously waiting by the door to hear how the first day went!

We were festive going to church!

On the 4th, we celebrated with swim team, the grocery store, and then a bbq with some friends. We are proud to be Americans!

a successful season

To have Avery jump off the diving board yesterday at swim team and do it again today all with a smile on her face makes the entire swim team season worth it. We've come a long way since the beginning of the season and this moment made it all worth it!

 I took these pictures on the kids very first official swim meet. I'm usually a lane timer so taking pictures isn't easy but this day I was the tent mom making it a little easier to snap some pictures. This is Avery's very first swim event.

And someone is obviously feeling left out of swim team. She puts her swimsuit the second she wakes up whether we are swimming or not.

The money and time that we have dedicated to swim team this year has been the best investment ever. My kids have improved a ton in their swimming and have had a great time doing it.
