hk...sing...bkk
Ok.. for the next part of the Trip liaoz....HK was so over...and sorry i took so long ....haha...paishey...=p
14th may..
and so i was back to singapore to catch my plane to bangkok via SQ...muahaha...
and jx was so nice to come and pick up stuffs from me....(otherwise i cant do shopping in bkk le....muahaha)
but of cos he was rewarded w the ultra nice EGG tarts...but he "creverly" gave the crispy ones to someone else to EATING..leaving the normal ones to himself...which wasn't TAT fantastic..but still nice la...
i forgot to tell him also la...
but then tot he would see ma when he share with someone..alas..
And so we were in transit area using the laptop
cos zach wanted to check some stuffs...
and cos we had nothing better to do before the flight anyway...
And so we reached Suvarnabhumi airport and took a cab down to Baansaladaeng hotel..
and raining when we got into bkk city..
and when we reached baansaladaeng..it was not really right beside the road like innsaladaeng..instead, there was a lane inwards to it..
and then...shock...
the pple working there were filipinos..not thais..
major turn off for me le..and and and...our room was on the 6th floor..and there was NO LIFT...WAT?!
and the so-called mediterranean themed room was like....
LIKE THAT LOR...
u can see for yourselves la...
not worth the money AT ALL...
my 700฿-a-nite 507apartment also the same lor...so much cheaper sommore...
And so we rushed off in anger/disappointment for our dinner cos we reached bkk abt 8+ and the plane dinner wasn't erm...TAT appetising..
wanted to find the SPHINX restaurant that jx n thobby recommended..but cant find it.....=(
then went to tis Tip Top(cant rem) restaurant in Patpong lane and tried their food...
they tasted...bleagh...wasn't a good nite to start off my bkk....sad much....
then went back sleep...
SOoooooooooooooo....next morning, we woke up...
and plotted to check out of the hotel and to pangsei the rest of the days of the bookings....
cos it really sucked....climbing 6floors of stairs...no joke..
and we realised that the owner of the place was a foreigner..Farang..*pui*
so we came up with an excuse saying zach got knee prob cant climb stairs...
and i think he also know tats it's bad to climb 6 floors (FOR A "HOTEL") so he didnt charge us for cancelling the rooms for the rest of the days...*phew*
and so hor and so hor....
15th May
we changed hotels....
to one that zach had some corporate rate...
and quite near also.....and NEw...
LE MERIDIEN HOTEL! (come back then realised kelvin got staff discount...
but i didnt noe it was sooooooooooooooo nice....and sooooooooooooooooooo niceeeeeeee.....oopz..
yar...freaking damn nice....
and we were so so damn lucky they allowed us to check in early...
at like 11am?? though they told us 2pm....
the entrance...glass door with dunno who on it though...anyone noes? or isit just a random guy? haha
my thai fren Nui asked me this "aeron, is this place for gays ..?"
I asked her why she said that...
she replied "cos the entrance got the guy photo/image on it..."
i replied "of cos not lar!!! u silly girl"
LOL..so cute rite??

and the carpark...and dunno wat..forgot liao..
just not for the rooms tats all..hurhur..
Arh...the upper floors for the bars and restaurant...i think...
didnt venture into that area.. =x

With very good service...
the concierge and service staff will greet and "wai" (the thai bow) u almost everytime u leave or enter the hotel....
such service...
Nice comfy sofa seats for people waiting at the lobby....
nice....
and then we venture into our room...!

as u can see Zach rushed straight into bed...gosh....pig
whereas my bed is still nicely folded and neat....

so much more space compared to hkg...

with such a damn nice bathtub....

ahah...not very privacy encouraging leh...
luckily can lock one...

I still liked the weather the best when i was there in dec with the whole ging gang..cool windy weather...
After the hotel we went for lunch...
at my fav MK restaurant for steamboat and the duck..hurhur..
i still think MK is nicer than Coca...cos im not a fan of sauces..
and also cos MK is so much cheaper..and got nice duck..hurhur.=p
After lunch went to AMARIN PLAZA in Chitlom to make my working shirt/suit/pants...
Nice chaps there and then got my measurements...had to come back to do sizing to confirm the next day
and the rest of the afternn was pretty much spent on my
HAIR....
yar...zach went back to sleep cos bth...
haha..yes...take very long at the salon one....
my usual thai hairdresser at the salon near victory monument...
I quite like the before haircut/after wash look
hahahahhah!!!
and i coloured my hair...to hide my ugly whites...
but cant highlight...
cos got interviews to go when im back ma....gotta look decent..
so bo pian...
Night time went to find SPHINX again...
finally found it lor...
phew........
by i wasn't that impressed by the food...
and it was EX(as it was to the tip top also)...
i still love roadside cooked thai food i guess...

went to meet Nui to pass her some gift i got for her from hk...i always get stuffs for my 3buddies in thailand when i go over...they were the 3 buddies when i went to Silpakorn for immersion..
16th May
Went to Chatuchak with Art, another of my Thai buddy...and we went shopping shopping hurhur..(ZACH was feeling lazy and didnt wanna go anywhere but sleep in room!)
nice to meet her up..and chat n just walk chatuchak...
everytime im there we arrange to go chatuchak..and she knows where i wanna go and she knows the whole chatuchak one haha...she goes there EVERY week!
jerry,jx also met her and Nuch before i think..=)
after chatuchak (it rained halfway...luckily didnt rain throughout) we went to MBK to meet her bf...
and also to have our 2nd Lunch..(we had 1 in chatuchak le..but Art hungry again hurhur)
she had hor fun..while i ate mango sticky rice..
walked around MBK then went to Siam Paragon to nua...still had some time before i had to go to tailor at 6pm and meet zach there...
And tat is where....I heard my first......
NOBODY since arriving in BKK...
gosh....
finally....and it was the piano,english version...v nice...=)
aww.....happyness...finally...but i still haven hear it in the clubs hahah

after saying bye to the couple i went to 4-faced buddha to do my usual philgrimage..
then went tailor...and had the trying..
so finalised liao then they will send to hotel..=)
anyway tis was taken outside central world...
when we went over to meet up with Paul and Birdy my other 2thai frenz...
Paul was in NUS and graduating with me...
Birdy's his fren whom i met briefly one time when he came over for holiday..
and he is a future doc...LOL...

seafood was nice as usual and zach loved it..haha...
even paul n Birdy never had it there before....
bird nest was disappointing though...cos had it at road side one...but i still prefer my usual shop..
