it's late and im not done yet!
let me start off with something a few wks ago..





This guy just escaped from the SEAWEEDian school of Infants-ry
haha...
but seriously seriously...
the uniform looks like seaweed to me..as in the real SEAweed..and this seaweed uniform is really UGLY...
haiyo...
BUT
i think even if cute pple wear the uniform also look ugly...
lucky reservist they dun ask us change uniform yet...=)

Now...to the main story....

As quite a lot of u would have known...
i flew to ChiangRai over the wkend due to my uncle having a stroke..
and i seriously spent more time travelling+at the airport than actually being in ChiangRai...i think...

i reached Changi Airport at 1+pm..plane flew at 3.30pm...
reached bkk was 4.35pm(thai time) and then had to chop passport before entering the domestic flight transit area..flight to chiangrai was 8.15pm
and there was nothing much in the domestic transit flight area...




Dinner in the food court...with cousin..
Extremely EXPENSIVE!!
gosh....
Thai Ice Lemon Tea was 120฿ and it tasted like 酸梅水

luckily not i pay...cousin paid

btw i changed $20 in singapore transit area just in case...


















yar...just this food court and a few shops tats all..
ripcurl/adidas/nike just some stuffs only...not much...
and a Boots store, electronics and also magazine store...boring....


















and of cos when bored....

i start playing with my camera...



my trustee bag and me...
and my shoes that stepped all over thailand.. =)

after loitering around we were still early at the boarding area....























and u get to see my boredom....






















and with everyone else gone...
then we started moving...
funny how we both always early..but end up being the last to board....
hahaha











Anyway..we reached Chiangrai at abt 9.10pm and then went over hospital....
couldn't do much cos doc not around...but uncle could speak at least..
and i managed to find out more from his thai wife...wat exactly happen and all...
we stayed for the nite at a cheap hotel near the hospital

and the next morning...




At the hospital...

it was chilly...brrggghh...



















Uncle...
cant move left limbs...
Doc said he would be able to recover and walk still...
which was really quite a good news...

his condition was much much better than wat we had expected...thankfully...










after visiting uncle and talking to the doc...paying the bills..
and estimating additional costs to pass to them...
we moved off for lunch at Big C...
and then went to airport...
Flight flying at 1.25pm but we reached at 12.35pm
but still early haahhaahhaa!!!!! yes...imagine we reach there still got queue at the counter..
and ChiangRai airport really nothing much..yawnz...



and of cos we reached Bkk airport again...
and then started to walk and explore the outside area....and settled at this place for tea...





















I love earl grey...
haha..Chang beer for my cousin of cos...

and i read up abit on more thai stuffs...
and found alot of interesting places...
prob will plan these for the future trips...
"resorts/spa" the theme...hurhur...

















and then have to pass through customs again....diaoz....




















look at the crowd...
geez....
freaking alot of pple lor...
i think wasted like 20-30mins at the passport control...










and then off we went walking around the inside of the transit area...
and realised something...
both sides of the transit area has exactly the same shops....
so next time dun have to walk both sides of the transit area (like me and my cousin..thinking there's more shops..)....
just simply walk towards your gate...u will have the same things as the other side one.. =)
ok...i think i wont make it for my 8am lecture le...
argh.. =x

Thailand trip in Dec

alot of things to blog about...haiyo... cos haven been blogging.. =( bad me bad me....Thailand first...super Summarised..

in short...thailand was a new experience for me... cos alot of firsts...some mayb werent too pleasant...
but i think i enjoyed the last 2days the best..cos i was basically alone.. there wasn't the burden of looking after pple...nor the stress of having to worry about things.. it was just me..and bkk...and i walk the streets like that of singapore..in the windy streets..with splattering of thai overheard...and smoky air inhaled...




Oh i went to Silpakorn University by my own, in the early wee thai time of 5am..

this was prob about 6+ am?

lugging my baggages with me..
to wait for time to pass..
it was nice..on the bridge in the early morning..and cool(brrgghh) weather..by the pond/river/watever it is...















the nice dog sitting quietly by the side on the walkway...

haha...u noe it's just the kind of feeling u get in the early morning with a windy weather..u just wanna capture nature on it's own..
















the sun rays starting to peek in...with no one still..but me...















finally met up with these ladies... the thai teachers when i came for Immersion in 2007...time flies..but they still look pretty much the same.... and amazed at my improvement in the language.. i say.."thanks to them..."



















i think i was most proud when i took the public bus on my own..from near my thai tutor's place to Victory Monument to cut/dye my hair...my first public bus trip there...non-aircon bus sommore..and with the paper ticket of old..tear-away kind..











i heart..i heart thai..still so much more i haven explored..so much more i dun noe of there..
