Love This One Too!

I like that it shows the cute back of her dress! And I would absolutely KILL to have her haircolor!!! It would be great to add blonde to for me, what awesome lowlights ;-) Beckham has this same haircolor. Don't know where it came from, but I'm lovin' it.

Already a star!

This is one of our pictures from the photo shoot the other night at the Cherished Moments Photography Studio. Brooklyn's wearing one of my fav Shabby Baby dresses...China Doll. Pretty sure this is the one we're putting in the commercial that airs on ABC this next month. Isn't she too cute?!!! She looks so grown-up to me, makes me want to cry ;-)

3-Day Potty Training

We did it, it worked, no accidents for a week now...I recommend it. Day 1 and 2...I cried. Day 3...a dream come true...piece of cake. Not a puddle on the floor or wet panties since. A+!

A sneak peek at NEW Family pics

Our photographer, Carrie Johnson (see www.capturedbycarriephotography.com) and there are lots more pictures to see, but here's a sneek peak. She was AWESOME!!! I'll have a link to her website on my TCB website soon, once we get our pictures in a few days. You can check her site out now but it's under construction and getting a makeover. Still, you can get an idea of how great she is! I wish Brooklyn had been in a better mood cuz I had all these ideas for pictures but she was NOT having it. Oh, toddlers!

"I LOVE YOU!"

Cheeky Boy

Seriously, the kid loooves sticking out his tongue and making funny noises!

I love this pic...I LOVE this chair from my home. It was my Great Aunt Wanda's and I always called it the "Queen's Throne" chair. I loved this place we took pictures at...it was at the Mental Hospital in Provo - can you believe that?! It was perfect!!! I love the European feel. It reminded me of living back in Portugal again...the rock walls and towers, stone paths, large wooden doors, iron windows....couldn't have been more perfect, really.
Lots of kissing going on :) 5 years and we're still HOT for each other! Josh thought to look more like Tim & Faith he needed to be wearing a cowboy hat ;-)

Now that Beckham is walking it's fun to get a picture like this. Even if I don't like my rear for all the world to see ;-) ha!

My favorite place to be...

Looking at my honey....

The "Faith Hill & Tim McGraw" pose :) Did you see my last blog entry???

Brooklyn and Daddy playing

Happy girl! I love my little Brooklyn so much!!!

Beckham is such a cute, snuggly kissy-boy! Love that kid!!!

At least she's in a good mood for some of these pics :) She really is the sweetest girl, just wasn't in the mood to pose and take pictures that day.

Like father, like son. Beckham LOVES sticking out his tongue. It's so cute!

Did a new headshot for my website...wearing TCB jewelry

Such a fun day to take family pictures. Nice weather but still cold enough for snow in the background. Couldn't have been more perfect!

She was going for an Eskimo Kiss but it looks like she's gonna eat my nose instead ;-)

Sad face :( I love the tear but he was sooo done for the day!

Soooooooooo done also!!!

THE MOST GORGEOUS LITTLE BOY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!!!!

ps - for the g'mas and great g'mas and aunties reading....yes, he's walking like a pro (tries to run), got a mouth full of teeth, says a bunch of words, plays a lot of games, is sooo happy and loving and cuddly, and sleeps 12-13 hrs a night like his sister :) He's like the perfect child! Constantly laughing and smiling! You'll all get to see him in a few days :) *YAY* We can't wait!

Tribute to my dear friend, Cynthia....

I learned yesterday that one of my dearest friends, Cynthia, back in Dallas took her life. I have just been in such shock and devastation about this. She suffered from severe depression and really struggled. Many of you have heard me talk about her. She came and stayed with me and helped me HERE when I was sick and preggo with Zachary while Josh was on business and I wish I had other pics of her on this computer and I'd post them. She was one of the kindest, most giving, selfless individuals I've ever known. If you asked her to keep you or your friends or family in her prayers, she stopped right there and did so.
I first met Cynthia at a commercial property mgmt company 5 years ago after Josh and I got married and moved to Dallas. I was the property accountant there and she was hired to be our admin assistant. We hit it off and became good friends quickly. We were the only 2 in the office that didn't drink and smoke and act like a couple of hoochies, ha! We stuck together. She was single and we'd scope out all her boyfriends for her and give her relationship advise. Cynthia and I walked our dog's together every Saturday morning at the nature preserve and enjoyed gourmet pizzas and salads at Bakers Bros. in Plano, TX. We watched chick flicks when Josh was going to school at nights and often had to watch "Anne of Green Gables", our fav movie of all time. She watched Giorgio for us whenever we went out of town and he adored her and her dogs. She spoiled him rotten. Cynthia just loved Brooklyn when she came along and treated her like a niece, putting pictures of her up everywhere. Her family told me just yesterday there are still pictures of me and my family and of her that flash up on her computer screensaver and our pics are found on her desk. I know she loved us. She was a true friend, there aren't many as true as she was.
I'm going through the guilty feelings of "what could I have done" and "what could I have said" and "I should have this or that" these last 24 hours. But the truth is, she was in a lot of pain and this was not the first attempt she'd made to take her own life. It breaks my heart and I hope she is at peace on the other side with her brother who died when she was a child.
We love you, Cynthia. We'll never forget you and the kind of love you showed towards me and my family! You were a great example and will be missed always.

CHECK THIS OUT!

2 Things that made me SMILE the other day.....

1) This Diet Coke Cake that my friend Brittany brought over the other night when our families hung out and had dinner. She knows me too well already. Y'all KNOW how much I am obsessed with Diet Coke!!! You must try this delish dish!

Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) chocolate cake mix
1 (12 ounce) can Diet Coke

Directions:

*Preheat oven to temperature on cake mix box.
*Grease a 9x13 pan.
*Combine cake mix and Diet Coke in large mixing bowl. Mix according to directions on box.
*Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake 5 minutes less than the recommended time on the box. For example, if the box says to bake a 9x13 cake for 28 minutes, bake your Diet Coke Cake for 23. Cake is done when a fork or toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
*Cool in pan on wire rack.
*When cooled, frost with: Frosting made of a little melted better, 2 TBSP cocoa, powdered sugar and 1/4 cup Diet Coke. You can also frost with Cool Whip if you prefer!

2) This funny email I got from Heather entitled
"Why you should always check your child's homework"

Note sent to school the next day with the 1st grader to her teacher...

Dear Ms Williams,
That's not a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint! I work at Home Depot.
That's me selling a shovel.
Cathy's mother,

Grandma & Grandpa Crosby

For those of you who know my grandparents, Ross & Rosalind Crosby, you know that Grandma was diagnosed with Leukemia. Through priesthood blessings we believe she will be healed of this and has a process she must go through of her faith and patience and endurance being tried. If you want to read about what is going on you can go to the blog HERE that I've created for them. My aunts and uncle and father will take turns posting updates almost daily.

Yesterday, upon arriving here at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and seeing a specialist, Grandma was told that she had 2 weeks to 2 months to live. Again, this was upsetting but we are fasting this Sunday for her to be healed and to be given strength and comfort. And also that Grandpa will be given the strength he needs as he cares for Grandma. We would appreciate if you would keep her in your prayers, whether you know her or not. Thanks so much!
