Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday Baby! It's hard to believe you are already 27! In spite of the fact that you are aging at such a fast pace, here are 27 things I LOVE about you:

27: Your dedication to finish whatever you start! Big or small, whatever you take on, you never give up or quit.

26: Your handyman side!

25: The way you love and play with Jarom and Taysia. I love the fact that you love being a daddy!

24: Your silly sense of humor! You make me laugh every day, just when I need it most!

23: The way you can't wait for surprises... I know you claim that you are getting better, but the fact that you are excited, makes surprises all the more fun to give!

22: How you never complain about the things I do, even if it seems like nothing some days!

21: The love notes you leave me on the bathroom mirror!

20: Your incredibly good looks!

19: The way you understand and lift me when I am feeling down and discouraged!

18: Playing games with you... and SOMETIMES letting you win at checkers. :P

17: Your faith, and the way you trust in the Lord!

16: Knowing I can trust you!

15: Your dedication to school, and desire to provide for your family, no matter how hard it is some days.

14: The way you support me in everything I do, from craft projects, to building something, and church callings! It is wonderful to know that you believe in me and will help any way you can.

13: Your goals, hopes and dreams!

12: Your willingness to help around the house (when you are home)!

11: How you balance me out; where I'm weak, you are strong!

10: The way you love life, and always try to have a good attitude, no matter how stressed out you are.

9: The example you set for our children... and for me!

8: The way you give 100% to our marriage; you are never afraid to give too much, or whether you will get anything back in return.

7: Your testimony!

6: The way you respect me!

5: The way you still talk to me - like I'm your best friend, and my opinion and thoughts still matter!

4: How you never complain at how little we may have; you just make the best of it.

3: Your dedication to your family; I love how you put us first!

2: The little things you do to remind me how much you love me every day!

1: The way you honor your priesthood in all that you do!

He Must Have Known

God must have known I would need chubby cheeks to get me through the day.

Giggles in the morning.

And wet kisses at night.

He must have known that hearing you say "I love you forever and ever!" would melt my heart.

And make me think of the first time I held you.
He must have known that your laughter

Would never cease to make me smile.

Even when it was caused by mischief.

Or that a hug would erase everything bad you ever did,

And give us both a new start.

God must have known I would need you by my side.

To hold me

And give me strength.

He must have known that nothing in this world would be worth anything without you.

Because He gave me you, and that means everything!

Good news, I had another ultra sound yesterday, and found out that everything is progressing as it should. The placenta is no longer right next to my cervix, so as long as it continues that way I can have a natural delivery. This little acrobat is also DEFINITELY a girl. Which is good because I have already started working on her blessing dress. :) We got the CUTEST pictures. She was all snuggled in there all cozy.... her little face is precious! It got me really excited to have her join our family. I feel fine, except for today when I felt the queasy morning sickness coming back. I hope it was a one-time thing.

Halloween was SUPER fun! We had a blast at Glenn and Amy's Halloween party! Then went to the trick-or-treat at Snake River Landing, and I even took Jarom around to a few houses (his nursery teachers and a few others in our ward) on Saturday night. It went well for the kids and was a good experience because Sunday and Monday Jarom asked me if I would paint his face again so he could go trick-or-treating. :)

The other thing of note is the inch of snow that we received just before Halloween. I have to say, having kids makes everything - even the first snowfall - way more exciting! All those things that seem crazy, or not such a big deal take on a whole new meaning when you have kids.
