Yesterday I spent the day at Cervinia in the Alps. I was going with two friends who both had to cancel, so decided to go alone. I haven't had a lot of alone-time lately, which is good-time since you get to soak up the experience on a higher level. And talk to random people.

I think that the best conversations I have had in life is with people I don't know, just because they bring something completely new to the table. The best thing about traveling if you ask me.

M83-concert at Magazzini Generali. Excellent.

Last weekend was spent with my boyfriend in a freakishly little village called Tovo Faraldi, in a house beautifully renovated by his mother. What a place!

I never heard, or not heard, a more silent place in the world. Peace of mind.

Lately...

I went to Bergamo for a day trip with a friend. Its a rather small city (250,000) a short train ride north from Milan. Worth a visit, especially the pretty "citta alta" (high city). You see, the city is divided into to sections, one city above another city (very Marxisticly bourgeois I know).

There was also a shop there worth checking out if you are into brands like MM, Surface to Air, Norse Project and the Cambridge Satchel; check out Coffee&Television.
