Carnival in Milan.

As you probably know there was Milan Fashion Week last week and if you are looking for some pictures from the shows, this is not the blog. BUT I did attend two parties (score!): one by mistake (we were going to CorsoComo10 for apertivo and ended up at a private event), the other however I was actually invited to. By the chief designer of the brand. That must count for something!
The brand is Larusmiani, an traditional Italian brand reinventing itself this season, and I hope I can intern for them this Spring. We'll see. This collection was absolutely magnificent, worth Googling.

Last weekend I was home. Well, not entirely, I went to the mountains to relax. Needed fresh air I guess. Before we drove up I arranged a shoot with my friend Eilert for his new untitled project. This is the result. Very honest I must say.

You know one of those days when you definitely do not want to go out, but have a hunch that you should. A friend of friend ask us out on an apertivo, one thing led to another and we ended up at a guy name Guglielmo Mianis house party. Don't know who he is? Neither did I, but he is apparently a very very wealthy guy here in Milan and had the illest penthouse (I so wanted to take photos but I was too scared) AND is the CEO of Larusmiani, the fancy smanzy Italian brand.
One thing led to another, and today I just came home from a meeting with his chief designer about working as an assistant this spring. Got invited to their AW12 show too, I promise to take alot of photos this time. The ball is hopefully starting to roll...

My humble room is not really something to brag about, but its amazing what a trip to IKEA can do to a place. I love the small (but crooked) shelves though and have pimped them with some girlie stuff (read: candles and other stuff that isn't good for anything) and ah, some personal items like my collection of sunglasses (consisting of Ray Ban and Persol) and my new perfume from Acqua di Parma (to get integrated you need to smell Italian too!).
So, I was planning on not blogging anymore, since I have a Gmail, Hotmail, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Fancy account and thought: hey, that should be enough!
Turns out, none of those venues are good enough to save my memories. And there will be memories. Since a lot of you liked my traveling posts from Buenos Aires, I am once again turning this blog into a travel blog. But keeping the fashion of course, since the place where I am currently living is Milan.
Ciao ragazzi!
