I think I took this picture of us after mothers day. Sometimes you go to bed and you're just like....dang we have a great life. And other days you are like....Let's just get to sleep to forget this day ever happened. :) Most the time it's the first one.
Oh swim season. I've actually come to enjoy you. I do love that we are all together for the whole morning and there isn't any running around to do. It is time consuming but it's mostly fun. Tomorrow is our first meet of the season! Gentry is swimming and she's not quite there yet but she's soooooo close. If she just quit thinking about swimming and just swam, she'd be money. She'll be awesome by the end of the season. But she is brave. I will give her that. She hasn't cried once at swim practice even though she's scared. And she tries hard. I love that about her.
This is Claira on day one of practice. She's going to have a great year. She has a late birthday so she gets to swim with the 6 and unders one more year when all of her friends are swimming with the 7-8's. I love how much she loves being in the water.
Gentry is right in the very front of this picture. Go baby go!
Maren is in a constant state of dress up. This day was Sheriff Callie Day. I can't even handle the cuteness factor here. When she shows up somewhere in real clothes people are like, "What?!!? No princess dress today?"
It's been kind of nice having Than working from home so much because I will just put Maren down for a nap during swim team time and am able to leave but sometimes she comes. And she thinks she owns the place. Obviously.
We had a special movie late night with Maisy since Camry got to go to the school movie with a friend. Everything has to be super even and fair in Claira's life and so this made it even. Thank goodness. I can hardly handle the tears anymore! Someday she will learn that life isn't always fair. Maybe.
Hey Maren...why don't you eat the breakfast in front of you instead of just eating the butter? Just an idea.
I love it when I find surprises like this on my phone. This guy sure is cute.
I had to take a picture of Gentry in this outfit because she looked sooooooooo old. She's not allowed to get older and she knows that but isn't listening. It's something with that jacket and her hair back that makes her seem more grown up.

This is kind of an odd picture, but I saw a birth mark on Maren's tummy for the first time and so I had to ask Becca if she had ever seen this on Maren before. I haven't noticed it get any darker recently so maybe it's faded back. I didn't realize you could have a birthmark come after you've been born. Gentry had hers on her foot from day one.
This scene just made me laugh because I think it's so funny how everyone just uses technology all the time. When I was in the third grade I certainly wasn't typing reports on my laptop at a baseball game!

And the next day Claira's tooth fell out! At school even! That's like a bonus!
And apparently the Tooth Fairy is the new Santa Clause. Too bad Fairies are very good secret keepers so she couldn't draw a picture of herself.
All of the running around in life makes the princess tired.
Last week I got to go with Camry on a field trip. It was a walking tour of Walnut Creek. This town has some history! I loved hearing all the stories of the old buildings and how Walnut Creek came to be. And I loved spending some time with Cam, of course.
Camry is a great student and she really has a love for learning. I love that about her.
And seriously, how beautiful is she?!?! Oh my gosh I love that Camry girl.
We were the cool car rocking out to Uptown Funk and Shut Up and Dance.
I had to slam on my breaks to look at these cute baby deer. They even still had their spots! There were three of them just grazing away in this yard
