just read a chain mail sent to me 2 weeks ago by shermaine. and it's sorta true.
LIBRA - The Lame One
Nice to everyone they meet. Their love is one of a kind. Silly, funny and sweet. Have own unique appeal. Most caring person you will ever meet! However, not the kind of person you want to mess with...you might end up crying. Libras can cause as much havoc as they can prevent. Faithful friends to the end. Can hold a grudge for years. Libras are someone you want on your side. Usually great at sports and are extreme sports fanatics. Very creative. A hopeless romantic.
i think everything is true except the sports part. :\
this sem is going to be tougher than the first. overloaded to 9 modules. and i just realised i'm not the only one. :D
attended the first business/management lecture. and i realised we need to write a 4000-word report. good luck to myself :/
okay shall stop bumming online. cant wait for scrabble training to resume on monday! =D

realised there's much cobwebs in my virtual weblog realm.
major events thus far would include canvassing at marina countdown 2010 at the floating platform doing crowd control with omaha. then there's scrabble and boggle IHG. hall XV got 2nd-runners up and 1st-runners up respectively. cool stuff! cant wait for our scrabble/boggle steamboat tmr!
sem 2 has started for a week now. as far as it goes, maths doesnt seem easy at all. must chiong! still havent done my tutorials nor homeworks. and i got some weird elective called "electricity for modern society". learning about power stations and the economics of them.
i.chess IHG just loomed past. i only knew of the IHG dates one day before the competition itself. and it was my first training. lols. the only thing worth mentioning is we won hall 1 (3-2). hahaha. shall not mention the six other matches.
so if im not mistaken, hall XV is ranked 4th for IHRG (: behind halls 9, 6, 16.
took up a new student at the end of last year, who stays at tampines. goshes. haha. and now am still procrastinating about accepting an offer of another 3 tutees in addition to my current 3. :s maybe i should, then i would spend less time doing worthless stuffs.
a little shoutout to you-know-who-you-are: dont emo already! :D stop looking at those photos hahaha. jiayous for sem2 and grats for sem1!

1:35 AM
and week 13 looms by. it's less than 12 days to exams. the feeling isnt here. have i lost the momentum which i had in jc?
7 modules, 6 exams.
waiting for the first checkpoint, 031209. thereafter can officially relax.
i realised projects will be done somehow whenever the deadline looms. so do assignments. be it having reference materials or full-force chiong.
1004 (mass & energy balance): half as un-understood as 1020. gosh. and how could you just throw us a WHOLE chapter to self-study and do as a graded project?
1006 (maths): prof leslie is good. what's more to be said?
1020 (physical chem): omg. thank god you didnt manage to finish the syllabus. we dont even understand a single bit of your edge-point-fee-one-four (8.314). and stop telling us you give out very few A grades. and set questions within our capacity.
1031 (bio): hardcore mugging subject. 99% memorising, 1% understanding. i.m.o at least. now i understand why it's 4AUs. but prof tim is great.
191 (econs): just mug lor. what can be done.
330 (contemporary s.e.a. art): LOL. what did i get myself into?
target for gpa? i daren't wonder.
studies aside (sadly there's nothing much), went out for supper with some omaha seniors and counterparts on thurs night. prata and drinks. guess it's been ages since i met them.
i dont know, but i think i wouldnt be here for the next couple of weeks. the pressure is building. work is still piling though it's the end of the study term. 2 incomplete projects and 1 untouched. GG-fied.
