Rodizio = Poison

Last night we went to Rodizio Grill for Jed's birthday dinner. I haven't been there for a long time - I just remembered to not over-eat. Well, it's impossible. They only give you little portions of meat, but after trying one of each - it's way too much meat. We took the kids with us and they were trying everything too. I remember thinking - wow! my kids are actually eating. After an hour or so of totally gorging ourselves, we drive home. On the way home I started feeling blah - like when you are 9 months pregnant and can't get comfortable. All the kids had stomach aches and we all just felt like sleeping. Except for Jed, of course, who has the stomach of steel (inside, not out) who doesn't notice a thing.

So, I felt like I had a restless sleep - I woke up a lot and tossed and turned all night. But this morning I woke up to both Teylor and Kobe on our floor asleep. I had no idea they had come into our room. Teylor woke up and told me that she "thinks" she peed the bed. I was shocked! She has NEVER peed the bed, but she had - no biggie, right? Well, while I was cleaning the sheets I noticed that Kobe's bed had TONS of throw up on it. I asked the kids who threw up last night and no one can remember. HUH? Kobe kept saying, "it was the chicken". The chicken we ate last night??? Kobe- "No - the chicken that was running all over me last night." All I can think is that everyone had a crazy night sleep and Kobe had some whacked out dreams. We still don't know who threw up all over - it just seems like that would be hard to forget... I dunno. All I know is that that much meat for dinner is NOT good.

Hello.

So, tell me if you think this is weird... Jed calls me and tells me that his friend, who is going through a divorce, just won 2 tickets on a Carnival cruise and wants Jed to come with him. Jed was all excited about it and just assumed that I would think it was a great opportunity to go on a free cruise. My response, "are you kidding me?" I think it's weird for a married guy to go on a carnival cruise without his wife. I asked him what he will be doing while he is on the ship because all there is to do is drink, watch wet t-shirt contests, eat and gamble. He was looking for relaxing... ya right. So, I put a firm NO out on the table and he was good enough to call his friend and tell him he can't go. I'm right, right?

BOYS

Kobe just came up to me like he was going to give me a kiss and he burped right in my face. I was so mad at him - I made him go to the naughty corner for being so disgusting. I was blogging at the time and so I didn't notice how much time went by, (like 20 minutes) so I went out to see what he was doing and he's sound asleep in the naughty corner. It is so cute and sad at the same time.
