How time flies when you are having so much fun! I can't believe I had the good fortune of being invited to be part of this wonderful DT and how quickly a year has gone by! Thank you Shirley for letting me be a part of this wonderful adventure. It has been amazing to watch FSC grow and spark so much interest in blogland. And last, but certainly not least, I want to thank all of my DT Sisters for being such the incredible group that you are! You just can't ask for a more supportive group and not to mention, so amazingly talented! Won't you help us celebrate the start of "Year Two" and join in with the "Anything Goes" challenge and just remember that we are a stamping challenge blog! As always there will be a prize, so come on and join in the fun!
My tag was created solely to celebrate FSC's first anniversary. The stamps used are from Artistic Outpost and this will be entered in their July "Anything Goes" referral program. I remembered that sentiment from the "Typography" plate and thought how appropriate! Dylusions sprays were used for the background, a little stenciling and embossing. The images were stamped with Archival Coffee and clear embossed. The FSC letters were cut from Tim's Vintage Market. The party favor is from my friend's 4th of July celebration, that I knew would come in so handy. The hand dyed lace was gifted to me by Lynne and I thought it would make a great tie. I am still working on something for you!!!
For those of you that have joined in the challenges, "Thank You." For those that have not, now is the time to start and we would love to see you there. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Love Baby!
CC2C #14, page 39, Guilded Kraft Glassine is where Linda has instructed us to open up Tim's book! We can't tell you what we did with the technique, but I can tell you that I went with Reds! This week's fabulous sponser is Linda, the Funkie Junkie, (WooHoo) and she is offering a gift certificate to The Funkie Junkie Boutique. I will also be link this up to Lisa's Bloggers Challenge - Die Cuts!!
After I made my GKG hearts using the movers and shapers, I mounted them on chip board. I inked up my tag with Distress Inks, used the Love movers and shaper cut it out on the tag and then used three sizes of Spellbinders, to cut that out and also make a frame. I also gave the tag a quick spray of Pearl Glimmer Mist. Both the Love and Frame were painted with Rock Candy Crackle and inked. You can't really tell, but it does have a little extra dimension. Not sure I would add that extra step next time. Just cut out the Love and make a frame, save the extra mounting!! I added a clear piece of glassine behind the word cut out! Before mounting, I stamped the crackle from one of Tim's Holiday stamp sets, in both Barn Door and Vintage Photo. Filled in the Heart on the Key with Red Acrylic Paint. I thought about added more and doing this and that, but then thought this would be great for a guy at Valentine's Day just as is!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great week and hopefully those that need sunshine will have it and those of us that need a little rain, will have that!

Traveling Rogues
Rogue Redhead Designs challenge "Distressed Greens" was just what the doctor ordered for Linda's newest CC2 challenge, page 42, "Flick and Spritz." Now of course this is a lesson out of Tim's book, so we can't share the details! Simon Says Stamp and Show are also the sponsors of week #13 and are offering a fabulous $25.00 prize and speaking of, we will be traveling to Simon Says Stamp and Show "No Rules." I love no rules!
Even though you don't have to use RRD stamps to participate, I just so happen to have a lovely plate and have wanted to use these little sweeties for some time. A $15.00 store voucher is offered and by luck, there is a store sale. I stamped the image with Stazon Brown and colored with Distress Inks using cotton swabs. I did not want any color on the skin or book. I punched little holes where the slide chain, so I could add some decorative silver sewing thread for the little swing! The sandy glitter was actually my DH's idea and at the time, I was not keen on it. Then gave it a second thought! Yes, I will have to show it to him! The metal pieces where covered with green acrylic paint and rubbed off, so the green would cover the recessed areas.
This was fun and just in time for the CC2C #13! I do keep forgetting that it starts on Friday!!! An old brain is hard thing to retrain! Ha! Hope you all are having a great week and many thanks for stopping by!

Make My Metal Altered at Frilly and Funkie!
We are in week two of the "Make My Metal Altered" at Frilly and Funkie and once again the Funkie side is up to play! All you have to do is take a piece of metal and alter it, so that is pretty darn easy! Come on play along and check out the Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog for more fabulous ideas from the DT! Linda is offering a $25.00 gift certificate to The Funkie Junkie Boutique and one participant will be honored with the Winner's Badge, so get out those metals and play along! Will also link this with Simon Says Stamp and Show has a "No Rules" challenge.
For my project, I altered three pieces of metal and used alcohol inks! The colors I used are Pesto, Bottle, Steam, Silver, Copper and Gold Fixative with Blending Solution. This color combo was applied and for the heart, I also clear embossed.
The tag background was inked up with Distress inks, embossed with the folder and then the raised areas were highlighted. Then I sprayed watered several times, blotting with a paper towel and drying in between! Once I was satisfied with the background, I put a piece of paper over this and sandwiched between my cutting plates to flatten. There is a little raised area, but not so much that I could not then stamp over it! I wanted just a little texture! Stamped a couple of sentiments. Shaded all edges with Vintage Photo and that was that!

Messy and Inky at FSC!
No doubt this challenge is right up your alley, so get your inks, sprays, stamps, etc., out and play along with us "Messy and Inky" stamping gals of FSC! The Fashionettes really had a great time playing getting down and dirty and for a "feast of the eyes" stop by HERE and see what my lovely DT Sisters have been inking around with! There is always a prize and other fun awards for just joining in, so hop on over and link up your stamping creations! I am also going to take my inky layers and link this up to Simon Says Stamp and Show some "Layered."
The first thing I did was to ink up some manila paper with Dylusions sprays, put down a stencil and they a little more spray. I decided this technique is one that requires practice, but I do like a challenge! Once I was happy with it, I dried with the heat tool and cut out the little dress forms from Tim's Movers and Shapers. The mini tag was inked also with Dylusions sprays and is a Stamp by Invoke. All other stamps are Tim's. The jumbo tag background was stamped with clear emboss inks and Stazon. I did mask of parts of the stamp to stamp various bits here and there as I saw fit!
I was so tempted to add embellishments, but decided to keep this easy to mail! Hope you will join in with all the fun at FSC! Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge is "Layered" and again we shall go have a visit there as well. In quick, the tag background was stamped and clear embossed and then inked. The letters were cut from the new Word Play die with foil sheets, which had been alcohol inked, embossed and highlighted. This will be for my son's 39th birthday! Hard to believe he is my baby!! Oh well time really does fly!
Enjoy the weekend and play! I so appreciate your taking time out from your weekend to visit!
