The Shack

I just finished a book titled "The Shack" by WM. Paul Young. This book is amazing. It really changed my perspective towards God the father, Jesus and the holy spirit. And it has really drawn me closer to God, about how God feels about me, human in general and the wonderful work of Jesus on the cross.

It really is a great story. I bought this book when I was in Australia for holiday. I was walking in the bookstore, walking past this book, deciding whether or not to get it, walked around, in the end I bought it and I'm so glad I did!

I just keep thinking about the story, not the storyline, but rather what is said in the story about God the trinity. And it has been really an eye-opener for me at least, to see God in this light.

God really loves me very very much and thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me..... :)

A Miracle
------------------

A miracle happened today. I prayed for one of my church friends and she got healed. AMEN!!

3 weeks ago, I noticed she was walking with a limp, so I asked her if one of her legs is longer than the other and she said yes. At first I thought she was limping because of her previous injury but apparently it was not.

God has placed a burden on me to pray for her, which is what I prayed for, to start praying for people I know. So we came to an agreement to come together to pray today. God is soooooo patient with me, thank you Abba Father!

Today on the way to church, I kind of chicken out. I told God to not Ellen go serve so that I do not have to pray for her, I mean, it's a big thing, we are praying for her legs to grow the same length!!I mean, what if God don't heal her? There were doubts in me, but God of course has another plan.

Throughout the MRT trip to church, He was speaking to me, telling me to go ahead and do it, because it's what He wants me to do.

So I said, ok whatever, since you want me to, I'll just go ahead and do it and you handle the consequences! haha, such little faith I have.

But God is faithful. I got her to sit on a chair, and wanted to see which leg was shorter. But I couldn't really see, nonetheless I still go ahead and pray. A simple prayer, asking God to lengthen the shorter leg.

When I said "amen", Ellen immediately asked me if it was the left leg which was shorter, I said I dont know, but she was so excited because she said she felt a sensation and that as if something is being pulled and lengthen!! My goodness, I was so touched, I cried. She then walked and now she walks with no limping at all! Amen and amen! God honours His word and I'm so honoured that He chooses to deliver it through me.

Thank you Lord Jesus.
