6 more days...I am going to turn 21....haha but I din intend to open party to celebrate for it, as I feel quite troublesome and abit lazy to prepare. just some outings with friends should be enough for me...kuishin-bo on tue =)
sch had already started for about 3 weeks and I felt abit stress coz this sem seems to be more busy than last sem. My team stay back after school for almost every sch days and we hope we could finish up as soon as possible...so that we can have an easy time for the last few weeks.
last fri, university fair @ RP...went to take a look at the booths and glad that my GPA now is enough for almost all of the courses in NTU, but the thing that made me feel sian about it is the intake number. For Computer Science, the intake number is 218...and think about JCs students and other poly students that going to compete with me for it...only two words...no hope!

UT 3 for all my modules were not difficult as what many had thought of. It had lots of give away questions that I believed had shocked most of us out there. One of the best was: What is NAS stands for? (1 mark). This is from Network Infrastructure.
another 4 weeks break before my last sem in RP starts...and after that its time to go tekong chalet. had received the letter for checkup two days ago and I only had 4 dates for me to choose from as I cant make it for the rest due to school days. All 4 dates were weds and I had to decide on which one to choose. After having much thoughts, I had chosen 19 jan next year. This is going to be my 2nd time as I went there 3 years ago and I think I am going to have headache on that last test item, which is the "never-ending" questionaire.
went to aloha changi last sat for a buddy that I had been good terms with during primary school, as he celebrates his 21st birthday party. His name is Edmund, but I am used to call his chinese name, Wen Yao. went over there with some of my primary school friends and we update each other as it had been awhile since we last met.

i cant believed that I do not have much progress on the things that I planned to do for this short vacation before UT 3. I had spent the last 2 weeks on playing games, slacking, watching dramas and going out. Almost nothing was done on revision for UT 3 and android, except for some revision on internetworking through the CCNA sem 2 lessons.
hmm...I had watched 2 movies at the cinema this month, step up 3D and liar game: the final stage. hehe both are nice movies and I am quite into liar game after watching it. It is the finale of the whole game, and even though I did not watch the drama series beforehand, it is still very nice to watch. So I had decided to watch the whole drama series after that.

fyp for sem 1 is going to end soon! this coming mon is the submission date and wed will be the presentation. After wed, i will be more relaxed and can play with some games or explore the programming language for the next sem fyp, most probably python with django framework. we will be creating a web application based on that.
module selection had just ended and i had chosen linux server administration as elective and internet server technologies as freely chosen (lolx...still in SIT) together with my two core modules, network and data center management and intrusion detection system.
now i need to concentrate on doing my fyp report and finalize everything, before i burn it into cds.

the world cup has gone into the quarter-final stages! and the only remaining team survive from my list of teams that I am watching on, is Spain. The other two that has been eliminated were England and Portugal. I believed Spain can go all the way...haha
23 days left to complete my fyp for this semester...and we still like not 50% done. It was really a very difficult project and my team has been struggling all along. How we wish that we were been assigned to a project like PHP web application or programming languages like Java and C++. I hope that I can secure at least a B for this fyp.
fitness programme had started and I need to attend a hour session every tue and thu from 8am to 9am and go for lesson as usual after that >.< Hope I can train myself up to prepare for NS next year.

this post is dedicated for my uncle, who had passed away about 2 weeks ago. Although I am not really close with him, but he is still one of my relative. He is the eldest brother of my mum. The side that I am happy to be a part of it, because we always have gatherings, especially every year's mother's day. Recently we did have a family photo that was taken during this year's chinese new year and I had post in one of my previous posts, but nobody knows this is the last full family photo we have.
He is sitting at the very left of the first row.
Rest in Peace, Uncle.

its time for another update!
back to school for about 2 weeks and everything seems fine... free day on wed for fyp and my team still yet to get started, due to that our project is an industrial project and we cannot start before the external party had seen our proposal. I can sense that i will be super busy when things get started.
4 modules as usual for this semester. everyday in different class, but still in the same block and same floor. The only thing I was a bit not used to is to wear shoes everyday. This is a part of lab rules, as I am having labs everyday. They said is for my own safety.
gonna watch iron man 2 tomorrow!
