Today we have a fantastic tutorial from another one of our newest Design team members Wendy aka Woo.
You may have seen her fabulous Transparent Tunnel card on her blog last week and she's very kindly made us a tutorial so you can make your own.
So what are you waiting for grab your stash and join in.
You could of course make one and share with us in our current Celebration challenge.

Firstly cut all your papers, transparency film and punch/die cut your
embellishments ready to assemble your card. To make mine I cut:
2 x 12cm x 20cm rectangles (concertina sides)
1 x 20cm x 8cm (border)
1 x 20cm x 20cm Base Card & 1 Transparency of the same size
1 x 19.5cm x 19.5cm Paper of choice
2 x Image of your choice
I used TeddyBea_209 (to decoupage areas - gives dimension)
Tape & Tools
Construction
First of all matt and layer your Base Card & your patterned paper
and on the reverse tape the out side edges only ready to apply your
concertina sides. Then take your 12 x 20 rectangles and score them at
3cm, 6cm and 9cm, then fold as diagram 1.Then apply to the back of your
base card using the tape you applied on the outside edges. Make sure
that the base card fits snuggly into the back fold on either side to
keep the size of the overall card at 20 x 20cm. See Diagram 2.

Then you need to build your picture for the inside of your card. I used
a square of scrap green card for mine and built the background using
Die Cut leaves from all scraps of paper to create a 3D effect and an
autumnal feel to the tree that my beautiful Teddy Bea was going to sit
in. Once I applied my image I finished off by arranging leaves on to
the top of the image so that it looked like she was in the tree.
I then coloured my Teddy Bea and the hat and eye area of my second image
Teddy Bear Fur Copics E50/51/53
Body Feathers Copics E31/33/35
Wings & Crown Copics E43
Eye Area E50/53 Outlined with Black Promarker
Hat Copic E08 & Promarker Ginger
Beak & Claws Promarker Pumpkin/Gold/Mustard
I curled the very lower edge of the second hat to curl it down slightly
and then applied to my main image with foam pads and highlighted my
image using Copic BG10.
I then cut around Teddy Bea, leaving a small margin all around my image,
Decoupage is my pet dislike! So I try to make it as easy for myself as
possible. Prepare your base card with your embellishments, on mine I
added just 3 simple flourishes, but you can make it as fancy as you
like. I added Glossy Accents to the eyes on Bea's hat and some stickles
glitter to her hat bobbles.
Now the tricky part, applying the transparent film to the card! I have
found the easiest way to do this is prepare the front edge with all your
tapes first and then lay the transparency into the fold and push the
tape to meet the film once it's where you want it, otherwise it will
crinkle and crease and doesn't fit properly!
Then do exactly the same on the other side to finish the structure of
your card ready to decorate the front. So before you start your
embellishments for the front punch out and apply your border top and
bottom then add your embellishments and your card is finished! Hope you
like it and enjoy having a go for yourself!
I'd love to see what you make.
