Small Changes to Website

Although I have fun "playing" with my website - it is very time consuming. Right now I need all the time I can find to make bears!

Last night I figured out another way to cut down on the time it takes to add new bears to my website. (Originally it would take over an hour to add a bear to my site!)

I have added a "Flickr Badge" of the available bears to my Bears for Adoption page.

A "Flickr Badge" automatically displays photos that you have chosen from your Flickr account. Since I upload my photos to Flickr anyways, it made good sense to me.

I just had to make the badge code one time, it adjusts the photos as I add them. I do my website myself - and I do it by writing code by hand. I don't use a program. Less time "coding" means more time for bears! I hope you still enjoy visiting my website!!

2 New Bears & a Bunny!!

I'm hoping my goal for 2008 is in progress... getting bears done :) I've finished up 2 Pocket Bears and a Half Pint Bunny. If you'd like to visit them on my website they'd love to see you!

Parting with Some Mohair.....

Like many artists... I tend to hoard my supplies - especially mohair! I thought I'd try to sell some of it on ebay before the pile tumbles down on top of me LOL!

Winter is almost over.... and then.....

DOWN she goes.......

I swear, the ice will all be melted by the end of this week, and I have not had one accident this entire cold, snowy, icy winter... but this weekend I slipped and fell.

I was taking my Girls out and slipped on some ice in the back yard that was covered by a very thin layer of snow.

I really messed my knee up and couldn't walk -- but it's healing up now.

It was very annoying... as I hate to ask other people to do things for me.

New Bear for Adoption!

Sorry I was a day late with the website update - but he's here finally!
This is Nutmeg. He's a brother to Cricket made a couple of years ago. He's 9 1/2" tall and can stand up all by himself. He is currently looking for a new home. There is more information about him on my website.

Yes, finally -- a new bear will be posted on my website on Wednesday. I am so sorry for the long delay. I've been working on special orders, but have decided that I need to fit website bears in there too.
