7 months...

This has been a big month for Mr. Will! He is pulling up to standing now and wants to cruise all over our house. He loves to crawl and play under things (chairs, his jumper or the crib). After much negotiation and work, Will sometimes takes a bottle and other times it makes him furious. He now has 2 razor-sharp teeth. Thankfully, they are pretty precious in his smile! :)

The highlight of his day is to play "rough" with Daddy and J. He will also randomly squeal at and attack Jackson. Thankfully, both parties think this is hilarious. He is crawling all over the house and is so fast. I call him my little shadow, because if I walk out of a room, he is right behind me.

Will still wants to be just like his brother and play with all his toys. We are slowing learning to play with J's toys, rather than eat them. I have to give props to J, as he has been so understanding and patient with Will sharing his toys this month. I am so grateful!

We have many new noises, and he says "Mama"...mainly he is hungry or tired. Will has been sleeping great in his bed, but not so much when we are out. There are just too many new and interesting things to see and learn about!

We are so blessed by Will.

Always on the move!

Vacation

With a new baby, we laid low for vacation this year and stayed in town. AND, it was awesome! No long car ride with potential babies screaming and when it was over, we were home in 20 minutes. I enjoy a good road trip, but this was not the year for it!

Our room...it was awesome! J and his "Cars" friends took over our bed the whole time!

He really is getting good at this.

Our resort had this amazing mini-waterpark. J loved the pool, I loved the lazy river and Scott is excited about when the boys will be big enough to go down the massive water slide and play pool volleyball!

Our water baby!

French fries and a hotdog by the pool! I think this was his favorite part of the day.

Nap-time :)

Rest-time being interuppted by an excited little brother.

Will says, "Forget baby-food, I would like that hamburger, please!". If he had more teeth, I truly believe he would eat hamburgers.

The Candy Shop had weird hours and we kept missing it while hangin' by the pool. The last day, we made it and it was oh so fun!

Big boy stroller!

So tired, but lasted through dinner.

Super-awesome giant train! J could have watched it for hours.

Highlight of his vacation: playing lots of cars with Dad!

Waiting on the shuttle bus...also a trip highlight.

Vacation was so fun! We loved getting to make memories as a family and relax a bit!

6 months...

Will continues to be our big little man!
Stats: 22 lbs, 28 inches

At 6 months, Will LOVES to make noise. Whether it be playing the drum, shaking a rattle or banging on Mimi's piano, he is very proud of himself anytime he can make alot of noise! He also shakes absolutely everything I hand him to see if it makes noise or if he can use it to make noise. (If it doesn't, he throws it and searches for something that will make noise...very resourceful!)

Did I mention we moved this month? We did, and it was exhausting. It was very bittersweet to leave a home and neighborhood that we absolutely loved, but Scott's commute and the drive to our church was way too long. Thankfully, Will was champ during the move. He took many naps in the car or pack 'n' play and adjusted well to sleeping in his new room. J did amazing too. I was a bit worried, but God provided beyond my expectations! We appreciate your prayers as we continue to look for the neighborhood, school district and home that God has for the next stage of our family's journey.

Back to Will, his sweet baby babble has skyrocketed this month! He does the cutest grunts and squeals and is really experimenting with his voice. Hearing him "talk" is one of my favorite things these days. He also said his first word this month! I am elated that it is "Ma-Ma"!!! The two syllables are very deliberate and he mostly says it when he is hungry, but it is the sweetest word in the whole world! J said Mama very last, so Will decided to do it first...I'll take it!

Lastly, we had to lower his crib to the lowest setting as he is rocking on his hands and knees and trying to pull-up. I love walking in his room in the morning or after naps and seeing that head pop up over the bumper!

Playing t-ball was a nightly activity, so we had to play one last time!

 Great house! Best family...so thankful!

One day while I was unpacking, both boys slept for 2 hours...at the same time! I had to document it as it was the first time this had happened and might be the last. I would have gotten more done, but I kept checking on them to make sure they were ok. :)

J driving "Lightning McQueen" out of the back of the "Mack" truck we rented for the move. If you have seen the movie, "Cars", you understand why this was a dream come true for J! He did this over and over and over and over!
 "It's my half birthday!"

"My brother wore this outfit when he was 12-15 months!"

 Love his eyes!

Will is such a joy and wrestles with his giant monkey daily!

4th of July...

We played it low-key and had a great, relaxing 4th this year! Just had to share these...

 Our little crawler!

 Rockin' our matching shirts!

 Will's face cracks me up

J could spend all day in a bounce house!

Super fun 4th of July parade and festival in our neighborhood. Look at my big boy climb!!!

Have I mentioned we LOVE the Bjorn? If only mom's back could handle more than about 45 min.

 J's Happy 4th Cake!

 A little swimming...
 Will's sun attire :)

 Such great brothers

Will thinks this float is awesome!

Being an elephant :)

5 months!

Yes, I am way behind! Catching up a little...

During Month #5, precious Will has begun the teething process and is drooling quite a bit. I don't know if he can ever beat his brother in the drooling category, but we are thankful for bibs! We also took him to the church nursery for the first time (I know, it takes this mom awhile!),  and he did great. We pray he continues to enjoy hanging out with those super-sweet ladies and begin a love of spending  time in God's house!

I have started seeing some separation anxiety while we are at home. If J or I leave the room, he throws an all-out fit. And, he really prefers for me to carry him around ALL day. Thus, my left arm muscles are getting toned as I carry this 20 pounder around! :)

And last, but not least...we have a crawler!!! Mom was totally not ready for this, but it is pretty cute to watch. This little army crawler decided he just had to be able to chase his brother around...and he is fast. J is getting daily lessons in learning to share and we are discovering that Will generally wants any toy that is a choking hazard...how do they know and want the dangerous ones?!? Thankfully, it empowers J a little to be able to take certain unsafe toys away from his little bro since the crawling is causing alot of "forced sharing". They will both be better little share-ers one day!

I have the 3 best men EVER! One lucky lady!

Will loves to hide under blankets, bedskirts, etc...and then Peek-a-boo! The giggle following is hysterical. He is quite proud of himself!

 Loves to wrestle Rock!
