Month-by-Month...

Can you believe it's been 3 months?!? At times, the past 3 months have seemed like a total whirlwind and other moments have been burned so deep in my mind and heart that I will never forget them. Like each and every time sweet Will's eyes light up and he smiles because I pick him up, feed him or just smile at him. Or when J hugs, holds and is the absolute best big brother to Will. Or having Scott come home and the joyful party that ensues...I am married to the most handsome and most amazing Dad in the whole world...and I know some pretty great dads. J has also done quite a bit of growing up over the past 3 months. I guess that is what happens when you bring another little one into the family and your oldest has to learn to wait and do things on his own. Regardless, we feel so blessed and are finally settling into our new routine...and we are getting a little sleep! Praise the Lord!

Brothers...

I have to admit...when I found out we were having a second baby boy, I couldn't quite wrap my mind around having a little boy that was different than J. Let me tell you, God has opened my eyes! I am truly equally in love with both of my sweet boys, but they are totally different little men. J is an entertainer, go-getter and catches every little detail about everything. He has trouble sleeping because he just loves life so much and doesn't want to miss out. He is type A, thrives on routine and can communicate with the best of them. Little Will has proved, so far, to be a very content baby. He loves to sit back and observe, is a great sleeper and eater (have I mentioned he is in 18 month onesies at 3 months?!?!) and LOVES to laugh. He will laugh at almost anything and his smile lights up the room (that is true of J, as well!). This works perfectly, because J loves to make him...and everyone else...laugh! They are both such joyful boys and bring so much life to our home. I am thankful to God for his amazing creations that He has entrusted me and Scott to care for.

I pray they will be the best of friends and encourage each other to be Godly men...as iron sharpens iron. (Proverbs 27:17) Here is a glimpse into their brotherly love...

J meeting his little brother for the first time!

J wanted to show Will his batman cave as soon as we brought him home!

 Melts my heart

J encouraging Will during "tummy-time"

He watches J all day, and I am amazed at the "roughness" (I don't let it get too out of hand when I can help it.) he will endure just because he wants any attention from J he can get!
 Best big brother EVER!

Brother time on the play-mat :)
