Off to the Desert

where my kids ask me...
Are there camels there?
Can I pet them? (cactus)
But can I say hi to them? (cactus, again after I said you couldn't pet them)
Isn't there sand EVERYWHERE?!?
Can we ride horses?
Who would have thought that I grew up in this far away, enchanted land...better know as Arizona? I wonder if I asked my parents questions that seemed second nature to them, being from different parts of the country. Now that I'm thinking about it, I can almost guarantee there were speculations about leaves changing colors and that cold white stuff that falls from the sky---what's it called again...snow?

Loose Tooth ALERT!

The last day of kindergarten brought big changes for this little man. O has his first loose tooth! I'm super excited. I love toothless grins that are soon to be replaced with ginormous adult teeth that engulf your sweet kid face.
For about 4 days he worked on wiggling it. Then he told me, "I have better things to do than wiggle my tooth...it will still fall out right?" So we will see how long it lasts.

One down 12+ to go

Oshyn is done with kindergarten. Hard to believe but I can't believe how much he's grown in knowledge in the past year. Pretty awesome. Congrats to the biggest of the little men!

Cruzisms

"I am the greatest baseball player who ever lived."

"You're the BEST! and I can dance with no clothes on!"

"Sometimes Grammie calls me 'whatlovey'."

"NEVER!"

"This is my giddy up jersey."(Broncos)

"Mom! There's a spider climbing up the water spout!"

"Am I perfect?"

sings the 4th Article of Faith

Do you know what you're teacher's name is? (for preschool next year) "Yes...Mr. McClellan." (Oshyn's teacher is Mrs. McClellan...Cruz also thinks he will have the same friends as Oshyn)

I will swoon Eloisa and kiss her and dance her!

"I'm coughing...I need some coffee"

"Whoot whoooo!" (in a deep voice usually when going pee)

Can ride his bike to the park and is smooth turning around in our circle.

At the moment he is way into dressing like "Benny" from Sandlot EVERYDAY with his shirt unbuttoned paired with basketball shorts. For some reason he is obsessed with tucking in his shirt (just as Oshyn got but I think he was a few years older?).
Cruz is a fabulous big brother with lots of hugs and kisses for Tyce and a great little brother, pushing all of Oshyn's buttons. Can't believe he'll be 3 next month!

On Fire

Tyce can't help but smile his toothless, open-mouthed grin, when Daddy does the infamous balancing trick. I'm surprised Mr. Tyce lasts as long as he does considering how hard he laughs.

Lucky Girl

I was so fortunate to have my Mom and Grandma come visit for a few days last week. I didn't know if my Grandma would ever be able to make it all the way to the west coast from PA...but she did and I feel so lucky to have gotten in some lovin' in a kind of way skype just doesn't cut it.

Grateful to be Busy

It seems as though my posts are few and far between these days (I may or may not play catch up :) but I definitely have good reasons. Oshyn. Cruz. Tyce. and all else that comes with taking care of them and their marvelous Daddy.
I am grateful that I have three little boys to keep me busy all hours of the day.
I am thankful we are able to laugh together and joke about "swooning" each other (and others). I love a good baseball hat worn day & night with buttoned shirts that remain open and for shoes that are way too big. I am fortunate to feel my heart smile when I giggle and the little giggles back until we are both belly laughing, him with a wide open toothless grin and some squeals...and all over nothing really, just a random giggle because I know where it will end up. They are all growing up so quickly which makes me even more thankful to be here with them day in and day out, yet I appreciate things such as a Father/Son camp out to rejuvenate with just the littlest son to tote around.
I am thankful to have lessons to stress over every other week with the YW for they teach me and help me reflect on what life has been and what it can be.
I am still working on being grateful for the cold and rain, but it does help me appreciate and love the sun and warmth even more...can't wait to feel it tomorrow!
I am excited to see my Mom and Gma tomorrow afternoon.
Life is good.

8:04pm added P.S. I am sooo grateful for bedtime

Best Job EVER

How can you not smile when greeted by these handsomes?

I woke up yesterday to breakfast in bed and some lovely cards with pictures cut out of magazines that reminded them of me (great idea Beau and REALLY funny).

I couldn't be a happier Mama and am definitely in love with all 4 of my men.

Peer Pressure Pedaling

After seeing his good buddy Soph charge the 2-wheeler yesterday, Cruz quickly found some guts to give it a shot. And vwolla...there you go. Two two-year-olds (often mistaken for twins) riding around on bikes without their training wheels, and not even making it look hard. Its impossible not to laugh at the circus midgets. Take a gander...
