Wonderful pictures

We got a little crazy in the Caribbean.

Lauren's sweet new dreds.

The happy couple!

Frozen "Merk-cicles"

For the past several days it has been subzero in Logan. It is a wonderful blessing to have an apartment where the cold can just seep right through the cracks around the windows and front door. Lauren and I are getting a lot of fresh cool air.
On my way to school on Tuesday I kept missing buses and trains and ended up taking about an hour and a half to get from downtown SLC to my building at the U of U. I am proud to announce that I still have all of my toes.

Just the Boys

Erik and my dad hanging out at the University of Phoenix Stadium (aka where the Fiesta Bowl was played). Erik, my dad and my brother Jon all went on a tour of the stadium since tickets to the game were a little much.

Mark, I'm posting this for your benefit! The field is pretty beat up after the Fiesta Bowl, because they use real grass. The lines in the cement are actually tracks for the field to slide on as pulleys haul the entire field outside of the stadium. That way, the grass grows outside like a normal field and then gets pulled inside for the games.

Erik and Jon in some booth at the stadium putting on a show for everyone.

The morning that we flew back to Utah, the guys went on a hike in the mountains. I prudently stayed home and packed. Poor little Erik is all tuckered out.

This is why I married Erik - he can reach all the good oranges at the top. In this picture we are at a "pick-your-own" orange grove near my house in AZ. We ended up lugging a crate of oranges on the plane as a carry-on, and have been eating them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. While at the orchard, Erik and my cousin started an orange war. Moldy oranges were flying (and rolling) back and forth, and thanks to their stellar aim, everyone in the group got to participate!

Drinks All Around

My dad found this "keg" somewhere and decided it would add to the Christmas spirit. We drank until it went flat and then we drank some more. I've never seen Erik so relaxed...

Christmas and Babies

This is Christmas at the Boizelle's. My sisters Becky and Lindsay decided to contribute to the "Let's Get Going on the First Boizelle Grandchild" fund by giving us baby books and booties. We're thrilled. Erik got in trouble with me for making pregnancy/baby comments and getting my family all riled up, so he's promised to lay off forever. We'll see how long that works out.

How It All Started

Erik and Lauren shortly after getting married in the Logan Temple. Best day ever!

Looking a little mushy at the wedding dinner... Actually, I bet the cousins were forcing us to kiss yet again. It was a rough evening.
