The Bears

Darin and I went to Chicago this weekend and watched the Bears at Soldier Field! I don't think I have even watched a full football game on TV so in 33 degree weather you would think for a girl like me it would be quite painful but it was so much fun! I could easily become a season pass holder!

Gingerbread house fun!

Ethan and I decorated our first gingerbread house this morning! He doesn't want to leave it's side, he was giddy the whole time we decorated it! I think he would take it to bed with him if I let him! We got a kit at wal-mart for $8.00 and it came with LOTS of stuff, we even had leftover icing and candy!

Our fun day!

I just love the snow! Darin is working from home today and he took Ethan sledding this morning! So much fun! I enjoyed a Hazelnut Latte and watched from the side and made the boys cookies, Will slept : ) We also just got a fun gift from mom leman...personalized stockings for all of us, so much fun! And Ethan helped put some finishing touches on the tree (bells).

it's back!!!!!!!!

THRUSH!!!!!!!!!! I am so tired of the pump, can I just complain a bit : ) For 3 weeks we have had it and FINALLY on Monday they said it was gone so I could begin to nurse again...well, yesterday I suspected something b/c it became very painful again...and sure enough, its our lovely friend Mr. Thrush!! I have talked to a few of you that have had it but wanted to know if anyone had a remedy for it? I have had 3 prescriptions for it so far but shelling out $70 again just doesn't sound great...I mean that is approx 2 sweaters!! : ) Anyway, I will obviously talk to my doc about it but thought I would see if any of you had a tried and true remedy!

ps...since Brooke was counting her blessings on her bog I think I will to in regards to Mr. Thrush...

1. I have to pump so I have a freezer full of milk
2. well...hum...that is all I can come up with : )

Chicago

This past weekend my mom and I took the boys to meet my sister in Chicago for some shopping!

Ok, so we took over the lounge rooms about every three hours so that I could make some milk for my little baby : ) I don't think this pic quite captures just how crazy it was but I am sure you can imagine!

Elias William Leman

Our little baby boy was born on Monday the 22nd at 5:00 pm. He is absolutely precious and we are thrilled to have 2 little boys! His name is Elias William Leman named after Darin's grandfather. We are calling him Will (we think). He weighed 7 lbs 12 oz and is 21 inches long.

Ethan was so cute today. Darin took him to run some errands and when they got home he asked for "the baby" and wanted to see him. Later on today we were all in the living room and I took Will into his room and Ethan looked all around the room and said "baby?" and wanted to go see him again and touch him. So I really hope that his excitement lasts at least a few more days : )
