Sunday, August 24, 2008 Dinner with the Proffitt's

On Sunday we went to visit the Proffitt's to have dinner with them. As always Ben was all over and Mikhai was doing his best to keep up. I'm hoping Mikhai is realizing that walking would make things a whole lot easier to get around!!

Last week ... Play date

Last week went went over to Jerrica and Isaiah's for a play date. We try to get together once a week so the boys can play together. They do so well with each other too. Both of the boys kinda just go with the flow ... what a pleasant pair! We had an exceptional time!!

Saturday, August 23, 2008 Grandma's B-day

On Saturday we went over to Grandma's house for her birthday. Mikhai had fun and ate a teeny tiny bit of ice-cream ... of course, he liked it! He also got to see his cousins, Jeffery and Kira aka Kare Bear.

Dada ROCKS! What a great Dad!! Dad came home from work yesterday and spent time reading with Mikhai ... Dada has awesome animation with the stories they read!
This is one of Mikhai's daily reads. It's a fun touch and feel book ... It even makes noise! The flies light up red and "buzz!" Cool stuff!!

Yesterday we had a play date with our friends Jerrica and Isaiah. They play so well together! The boys always seem to have a great time together even though they are still yet a little young to know what's really going on. Here are our friends again with Mommy Jerrica in the background.
Below are the boys having a conversation ... they have their own language so we aren't sure exactly what they are sharing with each other! If only we knew baby talk!

Let's see ... Daddy is back to work now and we are adjusting to the time without him ... ((sad)) We have a blast with Daddy!! We have been doing things around here this week like feeding the geese, going swimming, wagon rides, having grandparents over and other miscellaneous fun activities. Here are a couple of photos of dear Braveheart. The one directly below is right before church Sunday ... Mr. Serious!

Lets see ... I was working at St. Gab's Early Childhood Center, working out everyday and going to school full time.

Well, beings that it is already Saturday night ... Church in the morning, visit the nurse "Super Nurse" Mikhai and I had when he was born, vacuum, take a nap, play with my two boys.

SPLASH TIME!!

Grandma went with us to Dagg Park to play and swim. We got there at 12 and the water was so cold. Needless to say our happy-go-lucky Braveheart had a blast. He squealed the whole time with excitement!
We had a wonderful time!

Monday, August 12, 2008 Riding Lawn Mower

We went over to Grandma's and Grandpa's house to visit for a few minutes and got a chance to ride the lawn mower! Hey, we're easily amused ... what can we say?!

August 08, 2008 Aquatic Center Fun!

On Friday we went to the Springs Aquatic Center with couisn Jacob, Gramie and Papa. We all had an exceptional time! (THANKS Gramie and Papa for taking us!!)

August 03, 2008 Backyard Buds!

We had our friends over Sunday ... the Proffitt's. Ben and his Dad, Kevin, along with Mikhai and his Daddy went swimming out in our back yard. The boys had fun. Although Ben is not an avid water lover he had fun chasing the toys out of the water. Mikhai, on the other hand, loves the water!

August 02, 2008 "Night Out Against Crime"

Oak Grove Park ...

ONE HOT DAY!

Daddy, Mommy, Mikhai and Grandma went to Oak Grove Park for the "Night Out Against Crime" program. This would have been SO much fun if it weren't 150 degrees outside that afternoon! We had sweat pouring off our legs and foreheads; it was outrageous out there.

We could only endure the heat for about 45 minutes but it was really a neat setup they had going on. They had lots of fire trucks, ambulances, SWAT teams, police cars, tactical units, helicopter landing, games, prizes, free food and ice-cream and lots more!

Mikhai enjoyed looking around and was such a good sport as he so often is! We're excited for next years fun!

August 01, 2008 Where has the week gone??

The first photo is Mikhai in his P.J.'s before going to bed. The other two are Mommy and Mikhai getting ready to go swim and Daddy and Mikhai playing at the park.

THIS WEEK: We have been doing some things here and there but not too much. A few things that we have done this past week are: going to the park by our home, having our Gammie, Papa and Grandma over, going to the Liberty Library, play group with our friend Isaiah and swimming in our backyard.

Daddy is going back to work in a week so we are soaking up all the time we can with him now!
