Here it is September 22 and I am just getting to posting my favs from August. Biggest excuse was Violet starting school and that was my focus for the last few weeks and then the next excuse was that it was too hard looking at all the pictures from Iowa. It made me miss everyone so much. Here is the reason I made the trip even though I had to get over my anxiety of flying solo with the three crazies.
Top reason : FAMILY
This is my precious Grandma. Love her so much and wish I could visit every week!
The cutest almost one year old in the world! Addie!
Grandpa and Grandma H. Staying at their home and seeing my kids play there was so special.
Again, want to be there every week.
So much goodness here. I always loved eating meals at my grandparents. A garden meal is the best.
My Grandpa's shed, the garden, Grandma's flowers, good people.
My Grandpa made this cool train cart that he pulled the kids behind his mower. Ha! So great! Also, reading books and hearing made up stories. Straight from my childhood.
Other wonderful reasons: Staying with Ash and Creighton; love their new home, seeing dear friends, The Iowa State Fair, Violet riding her first roller coaster, sweet corn, here is where I'm going to list all kinds of wonderful food: Wig and Pen, Chick fil a, Chipotle, Tasty Tacos, Casey's taco pizza, sushi, and lots and lots of chicken strips.
