LOTOJA

Ike finished LotoJa this last Saturday. 206 miles. He beat his last year's time by 30 minutes and had a lot of fun doing it. Aspen, Linda (Ike's mom) and I had a great time riding along and handing him food at the feed zones, even though he didn't eat much. I couldn't have managed it without Linda. THANKS! Be sure to check Zazoosh (on the right side of the screen) in the coming days for Ike's race photos. Until next year... Eating Pizza in Jackson Hole after the race

Hiking Cecret Lake

We hiked up to Cecret Lake at Alta a couple nights ago. Fall is definitely in the air!

More Ayre Babies

We had a couple get togethers with the Ayre's recently. So many babies!

Aspen and her funny clothes

My mom recently found a bag of clothes that were mine when I was a baby. I think Aspen looks pretty cute in this outfit.
This is what happens when you let Dad change the baby.

I did it!

I competed in the Jordanelle Triathlon last Saturday. I've been training all Summer for it and I can't believe it's over. I came in 10 minutes under my goal, so I'm very happy with my time for my first race. My friend Laura came up from Las Vegas to do it with me. I can't wait to do another one. Here are some pictures of the bike and run. Unfortunately we didn't get any of the swim. Ike is riding LotoJa in a week and a half so I will have more pictures to post then.
The spint to the finish line

The spectators had to ride a shuttle from the parking lot. Aspen really caught on to the whole bus ride thing. She grabbed on to the bar.

Camping

Last week we went camping at the Heber Girls Camp with Ike's family. It was a lot of fun. They have a small lake to go canoeing with paddleboating on.

Little Fishy

Aspen took swimming lessons for a couple weeks during August. She really didn't learn anything. We just played in the pool, but had a lot of fun. She is a little fish. She loves to splash and float on her back.
