Christmas Eve
Wednesday, December 26, 2007 by Team C
Rick and his family came down on Christmas Eve to go sledding at the Sand Ledges here in Richfield. We had so much fun. These boys had no problem going from the top. I on the other hand only went from 1/4 of the way down it was so steep!
Brett didn't need a sled. The boys got so tired of losing their sleds (they accidentally let them go from the top) they decided to be like penguins and go down belly first! He learned from last time in the snow to bundle up.
I'm not sure what you would call this. It's not sledding, it's more like plowing. I think
Wade and all his tough talk got a little intimidated with the size of this hill. Now Lindsey knows first hand what a white christmas is. They looked like snow people when they got off that sled, and Lindsey was scared to death!!!!

Merry Christmas
Monday, December 17, 2007 by Team C
I never thought I would resort to this as my Christmas Card, but I did!
We have had such a wirlwind year as you can tell from older posts. It has definitely been a learning experience. From Wade coming to Richfield alone for 6 months to us moving from Georgia and still trying to sell our house. We have learned to definitely be grateful for the things we have the moment we have them. The kids have adjusted so well. Brett and Lindsey love school and Paityn is almost 2! Yikes! Time for another one....... Living in the snow has been great, Wade asst. coaching football was so fun and the kids had a blast. The community has been so welcoming and so nice. Our ward has been great! We jumped in head first with Wade and I in charge of Roadshow and then the Primary Christmas Program. My New Years Resolution will be: Simplify, Simplify, Simplify!
I am still learning where everything is (at least I don't need a map to travel to Target) (both because there isn't one and because the town is so small) Wade is adjusting to working at night and driving on icy roads. He actually says it gives him an adrenaline rush! Helllo!!!! The kids are making friends and we are loving being so close to family!!! That has been such a blessing. We miss Walt Disney World and Nana and Papa, but hopefully soon they will join the family back here in the West!!
We just hope that you all know how much we love you, how much we truly miss our Southern Friends and how much we love our Savior and are grateful for the gospel in our lives. We as a family hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy the season!

You know, I remember coming up here to Monroe and cutting trees at Christmas time. I remember fun drives in the back of the Scout, singing Christmas songs in rounds, Eating Aunt Jamies tuna fish sandwiches, being pulled behind the scout on tubes and laughter. Oh so much laughter.
What a child I was obviously!
Thanx Mom and Aunt Jamie for all the work you put into making those trips fun.
O. K here's the story....
Our first snow, how wonderful! We head over to Fish Lake to cut a Christmas tree. Yes, let's make some memories and go cut a tree this year. I got all the snow gear ready and lunch. I thought we'll be 2, 3 hours tops. Hehehe We get up to Fish Lake and let the kids out to play in the snow. Brett has no coat and no hat! He was out of the car like a shot. After 10 minutes of getting Paityn dressed, he was already ready to go. Oh no I said I just got her dressed now get out there and love it! 2 minutes later he is in tears from freezing ears. I was so mad, I just got dressed myself and planned on taking our fun Christmas picture. So I'm out there freezing and screaming at them to look at me and smile dangit! THese are memories so enjoy them!!!! QUit crying and smile. Ah what fun! Needless to say we had to drive all the way to Boulder Mtn. to get a tree. Meanwhile all the kids are doing is crying and asking for food! OOHHH KAAAY
Aren't we having so much fun? Isn't cutting trees great? Oh my heck! Never again. We will buy artificial like the rest of the world, I'll decorate it at night while the kids are in bed and then there will be no trauma or screaming or yelling. Just enjoying the Christmas season. Right?
By the way we left at 8:00 in the AM and got back at 5:30. 3 hours BAH HUMBUG!

Montana continued!
by Team C
Ohhhhhhhhhhh it was so cold, but that didn't stop these kids from playing outside! Luckily they have a huge picture window on the house, so those of us CHICKENS could stay inside and watch them play outside!
We had so much fun, there was sit up contests, stick pull, arm wrestling, and leg wrestling. The leg wrestling pics didn't turn out, it was just everyone's bums as they were flippin over. It was awesome though.I forgot the Drumstick party. We told the kids they were going to bed and then surprised them with an ice cream drumstick party! Just good, clean fun and memories galore! Couldn't have asked for a better Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving in Montana! Holy Coldness! On the drive up there, there was a spot that was
-7degrees. Now, that's not even funny! It didn't even get above 30 the whole time we were there. It was so much fun though! Our kids hadn't seen each other for a year and 1/2. Too long. They are very close, so it was Fantasticly fun!
